I just want to clarify something. Coach does make some cell phone lanyards. My comment concerned the ones being sold by this particular seller (and others) that aren't made as lanyards by Coach.

If coach makes lanyards I may just look for one made from them. I love to know that what I am purchasing will last long and is made well. I had no idea they made lanyards. Thanks :)

If you're buying the bag to use, presumably you'll take the tag off anyway. IMO, as long as both items are new and unused, a tag (to me) isn't worth $50.

I'm not particularly fond of this seller. First off, she only has 3 pictures, one of which is the stock photo stolen from Coach. There should be several additional pictures and NONE should be stolen from other websites or sellers!

And to add insult to injury, she doesn't even write her own descriptions! Evidently, she copied and pasted the description from another site and either copied for the wrong bag or the other website erred and she didn't notice.

Either way, I don't recommend sellers who don't do their own work. (All her listings use stolen Coach pictures as gallery photos and descriptions are also copied.)

I'm wondering what type of finish this purse has. Can the scuffs be treated with a good leather conditioner? Then in one photo, it looks the finish has bubbled up. Tell me what you think.

You may want to search the main Coach forum for opinions on the Colette leather. It sounds like it's pretty delicate.

Thanks BeenBurned and Hyacith for your replies. I really appreciate the time and effort you both put into this.

I was in Macy's (Sacramento) yesterday, 2 1/2 hour drive away and kick myself for not buying the Colette striped I looked at. I also fondled a Kristin- I love the clasp. My biggest problem was 25% off and another 15% if I opened an account again...then I went into a tizzy and couldn't decide. I had to walk away before anyone could tell I was drooling. All the other Coaches began talking to me and I found myself dizzy with decisions...so I did what I normally do....NOTHING!!!! ---Buyers remorse...reversed! :shucks:

She posted the pic of the creed I requested. It looks good to me. I don't trust myself...I'm going to jump on it.
ETA: Unless you more sternly warn me away. The last pic weakened me.

I have purchase a Coach bag from a consignment store..It appears to be authentic.
The serial number is G0773-11500 and is black, with a grey signature lining. Can you authenitcate with the serial number? Determine it's age?It is excellent condition. Thanks
