I sure did have a good day! My little Italian Gracie was a quite an unusual and unexpected find and I have been wanting to get a City Bag. I had picked up a black one for $10 last year and tried to rehab it, but it wasn't a success. It had a wicked case of mildew and I eventually ruined the bag's finish in trying to kill the mildew.
It is now my practice to do a "mildew sniff test" before buying any potential rehab projects! I paid $20 for this black City Bag but it appears to be in intact and in pretty good shape. It even has the hangtag! Best of all it doesn't have any bad smells so I am hoping that it will be an easy rehab job.
I know there was a date code in the creed but I wasn't sure that I was reading the decade correctly. Thanks for the info, I'll remember next time.

That picture in the listing is awful but I think it might be okay. It appears to be 92017, pictured below. (I think the chain links are twisted so it looks funny where the charm is attached to the keyring.)
(If you can request better pictures taken using the macro function of the front and back of bag charm and lozenge charm as well as the bottom of the bag, it might help.)
Please wait for other opinions on it.
