Definitely post pics, but I have bought a couple of items from this seller and they were all authentic, as advertised - so maybe Sis can at least breathe while waiting for the bag to arrive.

I'm sorry. I only had to look at the first photo to know it's fake. I hope you can get a refund.

Did you buy this from ebay? If so, please post the seller ID and listing link.

Your pictures aren't showing because they're in the email and I don't have access to that but the listing is enough to know it's fake.

Report! Don't buy from ironchessman as he sells fakes.

Note that the creed for the bag describes it as leather yet it's a tattersall patterned fabric bag.

I don't see the authenticity disclaimer in the listing but if the seller told you that (or if you're the seller), that's nonsense. Sellers have to KNOW their items are authentic and if they don't know, they have to authenticate them before listing.

If they cannot prove authenticity, the item is illegal to sell.

red flags went up when i saw that it does not say "this is a coach bag and...from china...finest leather.." etc. I have plenty of real bags and compared the creed. But i didn't know if it was an older bag. I also didn't recognize the way the creed was set up.. THanks again!:smile1:

IIRC, Coach doesn't make a tattersall Sabrina bag but there are tons of fakes.

#1 - 9085 isn't supposed to be that style
#2 - invalid serial number.

how do you tell which year was it made in this case (I saw quite a number of bag with serial no. like that)?

Does it mean it is from May 2001?

Do you have a thread to teach people how to read those numbers? In this case, I can do some ground work before asking question.

BTW, I got the swingpack. So love it. I like the older style classic look. Thanks.

It looks like a genuine Hamptons Leather carryall.

You're right about the serial number. If you spend a few days going through the posts at the Answers To Authenticity Questions thread, you'll find a lot more information. Some of the posts may be out of date but there are still a lot of details about a lot of subjects.
