I am not sure about this. I also can't tell if the seller has 2 or one of these. I have asked but not recieved an answer.

It looks fine.

It appears that the seller has/had 2 of them. The listing you referenced ended and she has another listing running as a fixed price listing.

Please await other opinions on this wallet because it's one of the highly faked and well-faked styles.

It looks like style 6058 and looks okay. At first, it appeared that the trim around the corners of the flap was one piece and my wallet showed the leather as overlapping.

I enlarged her picture and it looks good.

I'd avoid that one like the Plague. And I'd really like to see a few close-ups of the creeds and hardware. The hangtag isn't making me happy either.

I wonder if this is another of those outlet fakes being distributed through fakes sellers in the Philippines?

Thanks Hyacinth and beenburned. I was one click away to purchase this bag. however I began to have my doubts. First I could not find the serial # on the search engine! Second I looked at the top leather where the zipper is and to me, it looked like plastic. I knew you were going to help me with this confusion. Thanks again

I do not believe it is real for your reasons and the the loop on the pocket.

I have sold alot of Beekman's and it does not look right.

I was wondering about this bag, because I love to buy vintage coach, but I didn't realize that Coach of that vintage (presumably late 70s/early 80s - from the Creed wording and XXX-XXXX serial number) were faked, at least not in the glove-tanned cowhide. As a young girl, I went to NYC a bunch and didn't see any leather Coach at the street vendors (I looked, as all of my gfs carried Coach...) Do the older leather bags really require extra scrutiny, so long as the leather looks like high quality natural cowhide :wondering

There are good fakes and bad fakes. The bad fakes can be quickly weeded out b/c they are made with inferior products (vinyl trim, poor stitching) but there are also GOOD fakes, the fakes that fool most people b/c they are made with good leather.

Take it from me! I have (in my possession, until trash day on Thursday) TWO FOACH purses. For years I thought they were the real deal. The style number on them is "off" slightly, but other than that, they are made of good leather and to the non-Coach expert they do look genuine.

Really, unless you yourself purchased the bag AT Coach or an authorized retailer (Macys, Dilliards, etc.) you really cannot be 100% sure on the validity of your bag unless you have one of the experts here cast their opinion.

These women who lend their time to lend opinions and their expertise BLOW MY MIND!
:yahoo:

*And remember, EVERY brand name out there in the world has counterfeits.

Yes, all bags need scrutiny. Coach leather has been faked for a long time.
