COACH LEGACY WHISKEY LEATHER SHOULDER BAG #11127

Also which would you go for??? Sorry if links don't work sending this from iPhone. May have to search using item numbers, THANK YOU HuGE!!
I added the links to the listings.

Both look good.

#1 says that it's new, thus more expensive. #2 has a more accurate depiction of the actual color.

If you choose #2, since it's used, you might want to ask the seller for pictures of the corners, edges and interior so you can see if any wear and/or stains are a problem for you.

Thank you for help with the links!! ;)

Just a comment, I've never seen the legacy shoulder bag in real life (darn!) but I think that it is a smaller bag. That can be a good thing because large legacy leather bags can be very heavy (or so I am told, no real life experience, darn again!)

A valuable tip that I learned from BeenBurned is to check the dimensions of the bag as shown in the online listing. Then take a ruler and draw out the dimensions on a piece of paper - to help you decide if the size is right for you.

Two things you should always have next to your computer or in your laptop bag are a ruler and a magnifying glass! :D

Good Point! Thank you very much:smile1:

Omg, the seller just sent me a message saying ebay gave her permission to relist this fake! She says she bought it from a lady and it had tags too. She said the purse forum is not a valid place to authentice a purse. I told her to send me a pic of the serial number and that could solve the issue right there. Well see what she says, but I told her if she listed it again it would get reportes again. I dont get some people...

Talked to the seller again and she said the number on this "carly style" is mo4k-5659. If you search that number on ebay, what looks like a totally different fake pops up. Anyone familiar with the afore mentioned serial #? Thanks!

Who is the seller you are referring to?

That serial number is one thousands of fakes.

I'm assuming you are talking about seller kylee*123.

Is this the first listing you are referring to?

Vtg coach camel purse
seller: kylee*123
item # 180610353626
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180610353626&category=962&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

That listing is fake. Please report.

I find it interesting that it appears that yvetteyvette0516 knows that the bag is fake based on her "style" description, yet she uses a comp price of $398 for this junky fake.

Yet for an authentic listing, she compares selling prices of $35-$65:

And I wonder if she knows whether this "Willis Style" bag is authentic or not -- same "style" terminology:

this is the listing I was talking about.

Comments: I picked this up and put it back, and picked it up and put it back again...before I just had to go back and get it :) It looked like maybe a Sheridan to me? In really great condition, only one tiny scuff on the front and a little bit of wear to the bottom piping, in otherwise fabulous condition. Hope it's authentic, the more I look at it, the more I like it!

Also: any info you can give me on the name/style, as well as how to care for it would be apprecited. Can I use cleaner or conditioner on it? The strap feels kind of dry (but no cracking or anything). TIA Authentication Angels!

No it was the 2nd fake I reported.....seller is yvetteyvette0516 had been listed as "carly style coach"
yvetteyvette0516 doesn't the "Carly style Coach" currently listed but we can watch for it.

If you want to direct her here, perhaps we can help her understand why the bag is fake.

That's so funny because just this morning I was sitting at my computer with a magnifying glass trying to make out a teeny coach style number!

I recently bought the blue and white striped enamel bow ring and bangle bracelet (shown in the attached screenshot) at the outlet and I am trying to find the other matching pieces. The tag on the ring is so darn tiny!
