Thank you. I requested a photo of the creed and it is now on the listing, same link. Please take a look when you have a minute, thank you!

Wait for one of the Authentication Angels, but I wouldn't buy from this site. They don't claim any authenticity for their Coach bags and specifically state NO RETURNS ON COACH bags - so you are stuck if you get the bag and it's a fake. Also, the "about us" says they are designers and manufacturer's of bags................there are many, many GREAT fakes out there and if you are spending that kind of money, you probably want to be sure you are getting the real thing.

The website, bagsok is a China-based website selling fakes. If there are any actual pictures of authentic bags, they were probably stolen from legit sellers. Other listings show fakes and stock photos.

Do not buy from bagsok.

:yahoo: I'm learning! When I grow up, I want to be just like you, BB! :D

I asked for a pic of the inside and the creed - she did add the inside, but the creed is not clear - do I need to ask for a close up or can you tell from the ones posted? I seem some dirt marks, but if this is real, it's worth a try to see if some TLC will rescue this cute little one.

Seller is new (but you have to start somewhere, right?) and, from the looks of her items, is cleaning out her closet.
We need to see a clear and legible head-on picture of the creed.

This could be one of the exceptions to the centered/matched signature pattern rule but the style number on the creed is necessary along with a picture.

And ditto for this Ergo if it's authentic!

Bumping this up so it doesn't get lost in my OT responses! LOL

I requested it - will advise when she responds.

I also have this Coach photo album that I could use some help authenticating. I can provide more photos if necessary.

Item: Large Black Hobo (An Ergo, maybe?)
Listing number: NA
Seller: Salvation Army Thrift Store

Comments: I picked this bag up at the SA store for only $6. It is filthy dirty and badly scuffed and it is missing the hangtag; but it is made of very thick leather and it is not torn or seriously damaged (and it doesn't smell bad, either!) So I figured "For $6, what the heck!" But before I put a lot of effort into restoring it I would like to hear your opinions about authenticity.

I used eyeshadow to highlight the creed and it says "Made in the United States" but I cannot read the serial number. It appears to be 4 digits followed by 3 digits and the last 3 digits might be 006 or 906 (or maybe not!) I will attach some pics to this message and post additional pictures in the next message. Thanks in advance for your help.

I forgot to mention that the bag measures 13" wide, 9.5" tall in the center (10" at the ends) and 4.5" wide. Also the small inside zipper pull is marked "YKK" but I don't find any markings on the large outside zipper. Thank you.

It looks ok to me. The style was just called the Classic Hobo and it's from between 1989 and 1993. It should clean up very well if you're going to rehab it, and a few applications of conditioner will do wonders. I think they listed for between $185 and $195 during that time period. Nice find! :smile1:

I see nothing that indicates that the bag is fake.

The seller received a negative feedback for a sale of the same bag in which the buyer alleged that the bag is fake.

I think the buyer is WRONG and based on the BUYER'S feedback, IMO, she's a troublemaker. The BUYER should be on any seller's BBL:

Other opinions are certainly welcome but the bag in question looks exactly as it should look.
