It doesn't matter whether she "claims" they are authentic or not. Counterfeit items are illegal everywhere and selling a product labeled as "Coach" and described as "Coach" implies that the item IS Coach.

Authentic Coach is very expensive in Japan and many honest Japanese resellers buy from US sellers to resell in Japan.

This seller is NOT an honest Japanese reseller!

Fakes are made in China too, so where she says the items are made means absolutely nothing. And if she's selling to the US, federal law FORBIDS importing any kind of counterfeit goods. Japanese law also forbids the selling of counterfeits, and the Japanese take that law VERY seriously.

If your friend reports, please give her the URL of this part of the thread to include with her report so that the administrators of Rakutan can compare the fakes and the genuine items for themselves.

Reported. If I save just one person from throwing away their money on an awful fake I will feel good. There are so many beautiful, quality Coach bags looking for a new home and so many women saving their hard earned money to buy the real thing...no one deserves to be tricked into a fake.
