They look strange to me too but I think we looked at something similar a few months ago that was apparently genuine. It's hard to say for sure since drawstring bags are something I don't have any experience with.

This may be the one we looked at, it's in my "Questionable" file dated September of 2010 but sure looks like a genuine Paris Bag and the number stamping shows the correct details:
Thanks for the feedback and thoughts on it!

The bag appears to be authentic but it's not a pilot bag. Pilot bags have a "P" at the end of the serial number.

Note also that the description mentions chocolate stains on the inside. You might want to ask the seller whether there's any stickiness.

Thank you so much. I will ask about stickiness. I didn't even think about that. I admit I'm balking at the price because of the chocolate stains and lack of fobs.

Item: Coach tote pink & apricot new coach signature

Wow. I'm NOT getting a good feeling from that listing. The stitching on the creed is wobbly, the black sealant on the leather trim is a MESS, and there are a few problems with other areas of the bag. More opinions would help, but I personally would NOT buy that bag.

And here's a wallet from the same seller that's DEFINITELY fake - the Coach stamps are wrong and several other details are incorrect.

If you're a member of the site and can report a fake or a fakes seller, please do so as soon as someone else confirms my opinion.

Here's what the Coach stamp on the front of the wallet is supposed to look like:

And compare the bag in this listing, especially the size and placement of the Carriage plaque, with the real one pictured below:

I agree with Hyacinth. I'm not feeling comfortable about this seller either. I think the seller has what we'd call "good" fakes in that unless you know exactly what to look for, there are minute details that aren't correct.

In fact, the seller appears to "admit" that the wallet is fake in her title of "real enough feeling of luxury leather."

I don't believe that these are authentic either.

and

Please wait for Starry for an additional opinion, but I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending seller auc-mizuda or any of the items she is selling.

I'll also comment on her pictures. My guess is that she purposely uses the collage-type photos so that even when enlarged, the pictures are too small to see enough details in the stitching, hardware, creeds, etc.

But in fact, the creed photo doesn't look right.

Did Coach even make this bag in the color shown?

How can you tell? It's too small to see any details.

Luckily I have close-up photos from 2 or 3 HONEST sellers showing exactly what the details on that bag are supposed to look like. Let's just compare the Carriage plaque again, shall we?

The fake - which BTW is ALSO crooked:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/auc-mizuda/coach-e-12947/

The real one, followed by the details of the REAL strap and shoulder pad. That seller is a scammer and needs to be reported. If you bought that bag, you bought a fake:

Actually the site is in Japanese and they made the google translation for english site, so many words are missed- translated.
Eventhough, the price she offer are not much different from coach us online homepage. But much cheaper than Coach in Japan, I dont know why coach Japan are even twice expensive. But I agree, this seller seems to sell replicas.
Here is her shop ( in Japanese) with better photos and more products

I don't remember seeing it in Pink, just in Lavender. ALL that seller's "Coaches" are fake.

You're welcome.

Although I'm not familiar with Rakuten, I've seen it before and get the impression that it's similar to Ebay, Bonanza and other selling sites. All the sites have good, bad, honest and dishonest sellers and unless they are reported and the site is proactive in sanctioning those sellers, the dishonest sellers will continue to scam buyers.

As I said, she should be reported to Rakuten as a fakes seller.

Here's more proof if more is even needed - the seller's hangtags - look at the size & placement of the grommets and the placement of the O-rings on the strap attachments too especially the bottom O-ring that's half-hidden by the hangtags:

and the genuine bag:

I am not so sure that the seller claims the products are authentic. since I am not Japanese and cannot understand Japanese either. But she said the products are made in china. So I will ask my friend to email this seller for more detail and report to the site after that. There are many seller claims to sell authentic in Rakuten and offer price lower in Japan like Miduda
