Hi! I was wondering if I could get this bag authenticated? It looks to me like these aren't the original pictures of the bag so I emailed her to get pictures. She emailed me two pictures of the bag but I can't get the images to copy and paste here? Do you guys have any ideas of what else I can try? She said she couldn't get a picture of the creed because its either very dark or overexposed. She did email me through ebay. Do you think it would work better coming from my email account? I was just wondering your thoughts and if you've dealt with the seller in the past. It looks like from her feedback she sells a lot of Coach. Thanks so much for your time.

Real or not please?
Thanks
I don't feel comfortable about seller xiaokcwei22 or another ID used by the same seller, aquapriness65.

EDITED to add: Found a third ID: d2a0r1a0

And a 4th ID: craystalpop89
They sell highly faked items with minimal pictures and the pictures that are in the listings aren't enough to determine authenticity. Additionally, I'm not certain that the pictures are their own.

In fact, xiaokcwei22 received a neutral feedback in April, 2010 stating that the item received was not the item pictured.

And aquapriness65 has a feedback from July indicating that a refund was issued.

Seller craystalpop89 also has a feedback comment from the same buyer who left aquapriness65 neutral indicating a refund issuance too.

There's also indication that aquapriness65 used to sell fakes as "designer inspired" back in 2009.

I wonder how many more IDs these sellers have.

The pictures in jellybeanmonster's listings are stock photos that were stolen from Coach's website.

We need to see clear and focused pictures of the creed, the plaque, the hardware, the front, back, sides and bottom of the actual bag. (All her listings should have these pictures!!) If she uses the macro (tulip/flower) setting on the camera, she can get good clear closeups.

If the pictures are too large to post as attachments, you can open a free account on photobucket, inkfrog, or another similar photo-hosting website.

I don't recommend buying from sellers who don't do their own work and show enough details to prove authenticity of their items.

I also feel a bit uncomfortable about some of the seller's recent feedbacks.

Thanks for the quick reply! I feel a little uncomfortable about reading all of that too. I kind of figured the pictures were stock photos. I can try to request more pictures, but then again I may just pass on this bag. I love this color, but there will always be more right? :smile1: Thanks again!

Great detective work, BB. I wouldn't buy from any of these IDs.

I completely agree with BB. I would not buy from ebay seller jellybeanmonster or the seller's Bonanza ID chillicrabs.

I know for a fact that the ebay fees circumvention alleged in jellybeanmonster's feedback is true.

There are plenty of honest ebay and Bonanza sellers out there. I would suggest that you look for another seller who plays by the rules.

Hello,

I was wondering if this was an authentic Coach Scribble Tote. It looks just like the other ones I have seen but not in this particular pattern. The number is: No M04K-5659. I tried to get as close as I could a picture of the creed patch. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I have included a link for the pictures I took.

P.S. Creed says: THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THE FINEST MATERIALS TRIMMED WITH GENUINE LEATHER. ITS SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REFLECT OUR COMMITMENT TO ENDURING QUALITY.

I'm sorry but it's fake. Is that your bag? Can you get a refund?

That serial number is seen on countless fakes in a variety of different styles and patterns. For example, there are 3 current listings with that style number, ALL fake.

This is what style 5659 is supposed to look like. Any other bag with 5659 that doesn't look like this is fake. (And some bags that look similar to this are also fake.)

Ask for more pics and a clear shot of the creed

So I asked for more pictures, and the seller posted them. The creed was blurry so I asked for another picture. The seller then asked me why I would want to read the creed. I told her that the creed can be used to authenticate a bag, and any responsible buyer would ask. (I wanted to say, any responsible seller would hand it over no questions!) Anyway, that issue combined with me noticing the flaws were on the front of the bag led me to buy the one off of Bonanza. Thanks everyone for your input!
