Comments: This came up while searching for willis bags and I have never seen one like this before. Authentic? If so does anyone know the name and age of the bag?

Authentic, it's a Scout Bag from the early 1990s. Coach lists the strap length (end to end, unbuckled) as 44 inches so check and make sure it hasn't been cut. Unfortunately when the long strap drops went out of style, some Coach owners just whacked off the end of the straps on their older bags and punched new holes so older bags always need a clear pic of the strap, especially the end that fits through the buckle. There are some badly chopped straps out there so be aware of the problem.

For a few years during this period (mid 1980s to early 1990s) Coach also had the option of 2 strap lengths on a few of the bags, mostly the ones with the removeable-type straps (usually either approx. 36 or 44 inches), so make sure you know what length the bag has if you're planning on carrying it at a specific drop length.

Comments: On a hunt still for a smallish wallet to fit in my small coach bag

Salearea is one of the most reputable sellers on Ebay and is very careful about authenticating their items. If you read the negative feedbacks, they seem to be from nitwit buyers who can't be bothered to either read the descriptions or to look at the sellers' photos where every flaw and damaged area is CLEARLY explained AND photographed and where complete measurements are always given.

Unfortunately like too many honest sellers, this one seems to get more than their share of buyers who should be on every seller's Blocked Bidder List. I've bought from Salearea before and would again in a heartbeat.

As for the wallet, I'm not familiar with the newer styles so wait for more opinions.
I'd buy from Salearea in a heartbeat because I know that she is honest in her descriptions and images of her items for sale. And as Hyacinth pointed out, she authenticates any items that she isn't sure of.

Regarding the wallet, there really should be more and clearer pictures of the wallet, hardware and all paperwork.

The seller has a couple of completed listings for this bag that I'd like to hear other opinions on. There's something that bothers me about the gallery picture that I've never seen before.

thanks for your support and kind words ladies :smile1:
I would absolutely never sell anything I was unsure of. And as you both pointed out, I would come to you or other experts about anything I was unsure of. Gotta love the negative feedbacks from "nitwit buyers" scaring away competent people!

Comments: PLEASE AUTHENTICATE....J3K, makes me wonder, cannot find another like this online. THANKS LADIES~
This backpack is from 2003 so at 8 years old, you aren't apt to find too many online listings.

But the bag is the pictures is fine.

It looks worn and wrinkled, definitely not something I'd be comfortable buying.

Don't lose hope, there were thousands of Willises made. Just be patient and wait for the right one to come along. :smile1:

Thanks maybe that's why it looks dyed the wrinkles make it look like it had been either washed or dyed...will pass on it I'm impatient LOL but I want a black willis bag badly to use in the spring and summer so I have a few more months to hunt!

Thanks! If I didnt have my heart set on a willis bag I would probably get that one it's neat and I haven't seen one on ebay or etsy before this one

:) thanks ladies have saved this seller for future reference! Will save me having to post authentication questions :)

Another quick question do you guys find much of a difference size wise between a willis and station bag?? Most of the measurements I am seeing are only about an inch difference so I may just go with a station bag if I can manage to win this one :) I like smaller crossbody type bags for the summer but I want to be able to maybe be able to fit my ipod and a camera in it as well for travel in the summer so I don't have to haul a suitcase sized bag on vacation LOL

Thank-you! Thank-you!

Comments: I have already bought this bag! I can't wait to get it....I just wanted to say thanks to each authenticator who has helped me over the last few weeks. I have been searching for a Coach Zoe and I found one that I love for a good price! I just happened to be on Ebay and I saw this zoe was listed incorrectly. Previously, everytime I would bid on Coach Zoes...... I always just missed it but I lucked up on this one! Thanks Again for your work!

It looks good, though a closeup picture of the creed would be helpful. The seller must not be aware that the style name and color of the bag is listed on the price tag. It's the Large Patent Zoe in the Fawn color.
