I would ask the seller to check the style number again and to post a clear picture of the creed. It sort of looks like style 9965, which I think is the "Legacy Small Flap". Too bad the pictures aren't good...the creed picture is unreadable.

I don't know what seller means by: "bottom is soft, may put a hard support inside to hold shape better".

If it IS authentic, I wouldn't consider it "vintage". If the "A0P" is correct it would be from 2000.

It "could" be authentic...though 2 pictures aren't enough to tell for sure...at least for me.

It's really, really "used" and the leather on the front piping appears to be worn clear through.

That 7 digit serial number is probably from later 1980's - 1993.

As for the wrinkle, regular use and conditioning the leather every few months will make it less noticeable. Depending on where it is you can also try just folding it in the opposite direction, but don't pull it or put heavy pressure on it. Eventually most of the wrinkle will work itself out.

Giving the bag a full bath the way you'll find described in other Coach threads here can also help but that's probably not necessary unless the bag needs it since it takes at least several days to do it right. Searching here for "Coach bath" or "Coach rehab" will give you plenty of examples of how others have cleaned and rehabbed their classic leather bags:

Salearea is one of the most reputable sellers on Ebay and is very careful about authenticating their items. If you read the negative feedbacks, they seem to be from nitwit buyers who can't be bothered to either read the descriptions or to look at the sellers' photos where every flaw and damaged area is CLEARLY explained AND photographed and where complete measurements are always given.

Unfortunately like too many honest sellers, this one seems to get more than their share of buyers who should be on every seller's Blocked Bidder List. I've bought from Salearea before and would again in a heartbeat.

As for the wallet, I'm not familiar with the newer styles so wait for more opinions.

It looks worn and wrinkled, definitely not something I'd be comfortable buying.

Don't lose hope, there were thousands of Willises made. Just be patient and wait for the right one to come along. :smile1:
