Please wait for opinions on the bag. I'm not sure the pictures are large enough to see important details.

As for the seller, you might want to take her feedback into consideration. There seems to be a pattern of non-disclosure and inaccurate descriptions and careless shipping practices.

sellers feedback does make me a little nervous. are a lot of the vintage bags possibly fakes? i can usually spot a current fake but i am not familiar with the older styles. The bag seems to be in decent shape but i know it will need some love and i am looking for a vintage bag to restore. but i definitely do not want to spend time restoring a fake!!! Thanks for all your help!!

I agree that the pictures are too small to see detail, although nothing screams fake to me.

It looks similar to a bag called the "Companion Zip" but I wish I could read the creed.

Hey ladies. I am looking for a black leather Legacy Wallet...and came across these two. I thought they were the same, but they are not. Is one fake, or is it from a different year?
The one I thought about getting, but intuition says no:

I used the second listing as reference for the first...and the first one just did not add up. The stitching looks wrong, texture looks wrong, among other little things.
They could both be authentic, just from different years...but I like the second listing better.
Before I buy a black Legacy wallet, I would like to know more about them...counterfeiters make very good fake wallets.

Considering the seller's Feedback, you should probably look for another seller. Anyone selling older bags should be willing to show clear LARGE photos of the entire bag.

And yes, there are a LOT of classic and vintage fakes. Being able to see the bag's details and creed patch is absolutely necessary.

I am not going to comment on authenticity but Coach did use different top-stitching colors. I remember post somewhere where a seller was mad because a buyer was upset over the color of the top-stitching because it did not match that of her other items.

The gray topstitching was an original release.
