Hi, TPF ladies. Still learning to navigate my way around here. Please authenticate this Coach bag for me.

Style Name: Z Ergo Leather Crossbody (SV/TO)
Style No.: Z16252
Serial No.: H1093-Z16252

I bought this at a popular discount retailer (not sure if I can mention the name here). It did come with the Coach price tag and brown dust bag w/ the new horse and carriage logo on them. The leather is thick, reminds me of the old Coach in the mid 90s (not thin like an ergo hobo I had in 2008) and smells like them, too, when newly purchased. I'm only 50/50 convinced it's real because of the 3 bottom right corner stitches being overlapping (doubled) shown in the last picture. It also has tattersall lining but no "coach" all over it, and the serial number has a Z on it. However, the inside pocket zipper does have the YKK and the bag seems well-made, and the "A" on the "COACH" on the hangtag and creed is pointed on top, not rounded like the fakes. Sorry this is rather long. TIA.
The bag is authentic. (I also saw these Ergo bags at the same discounters.)

The "Z" in the serial number appears to be a new indication Coach is using to indicate that the bags were sold at discounters such as Nordstrom's Rack, TJ Maxx, Filene's Basement, Marshalls, etc.) In the past, they used to stamp the bags with an "X."

Regarding the overlapped stitching, I think you're referring to the backtacking that is on the corners of the creed. On most items (clothing included), the stitching is backtacked in order to keep it from unraveling.

As for the YKK zipper, zipper brand doesn't prove or disprove authenticity. Coach has used several different brands of zippers over the years so even if a back has a different brand of zipper, it could be authentic. And 99% of the fakes have zippers that say YKK.

Hi there. First off, I'm a newbie but plan on posting a lot more in the future!

I'm currently looking at two Coach purses that a friend of a friend is selling. Sorry this isn't the correct format, but I don't have a lot of info on these two purses. I don't have a link, only a few pics that she emailed me. I don't know the style names, sorry. Neither of these purses are the one I really want (small Coach Heritage satchel), but I like both of these regardless.

Both bags are gently used, so there are no retail prices tags on them.

Here are a few pics that were emailed to me. For some reason, I couldn't get the manage attachments to work properly, so I hope it's ok to use Photobucket links. I just saved the pics from my email to my computer, then uploaded them to Photobucket.

Thanks for any and all help! She's offering both of them to me for $60, and says that the one is too small, and she just doesn't really care for the other one too much. It's a fair price if they're real, but I don't wanna pay $60 (or any other amount) if they aren't authentic.

I'd like to see a picture of the creed for the second one but both appear to be fine and $60 sounds like a deal!

Can you please authenticate this wallet! I would love to buy from an outlet, but I have called all over the country today and none of the Factory stores will help me out. A store in Freeport, Maine has it, but the lady that answered the phone was a bit snippy and told me very bluntly that they don't ship. What drives me nuts is that I could get it for $66-67 if I was at the store. I really would prefer that, but I am not anywhere close and they don't do phone orders. That being the case, I am forced to go to eBay. I am looking for the Julia large zip around wallet 43806 in lilac/silver, which it appears to be and is listed as. It looks authentic to me, but you ladies are the experts. Is there anything I need to be concerned with buying a Coach wallet on eBay other than possible counterfeits (stolen goods, etc.)? I hope I can get this wallet from somewhere.

Title: COACH JULIA PEBBLE LEATHER ACCORDIAN WALLET 43806

I don't recommend buying from xiaokcwei22. The gallery picture is a stolen Coach stock photo and we have no way of knowing whether the other 2 pictures are the seller's own or stolen from another source. Additionally, there need to be many more pictures to prove authenticity, something none of the seller's listings have.

Especially for Coach wallets, we don't recommend buying them from sellers who don't have a proven history of selling only authentic items. Coach wallets are very highly faked and often, the fakes look "good" in the pictures. And even some "powersellers" have been known to mix authentic and fake wallets.

All the seller's listings are for very well-faked styles and none have pictures that make me feel comfortable recommending the seller.

So for any wallet purchase, please post the listing(s) here and use the format requested in the first post of the thread. (I have posted your listing in that format.)

Your link doesn't work so I fixed it. Also, in the future, please post in the format requested on post #1 of the thread as it's helpful in future searches.

I don't recommend doing business with williamabaldwin as the seller mixes (possibly) authentic bags with fake jewelry.

These bracelets are fake:

and
http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Striped-H...762?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3caeac7de2

The seller has also sold fake Coach keychains. One example:

And here's another place where the seller sells the fake junk:

Here's where he bought the fake jewelry and keychains:

In the "trying to develop my own eye" category, can someone verify these are real?

Neither has any obvious red flags although both should have more pictures.
And this is fake?

(Weird it's the same seller as the one with the satchel that looks real)
Or is that ugly tag also something that Coach thought was a good idea?

I've never seen anything like this, but I'm only familiar with the less expensive items

The first one looks okay. This style of bag has a script creed. (Is that what you mean as the "ugly tag?")

#2 needs more pictures. There's no way to authenticate with one photo.

Thank you very much. Glad I didn't go for it. I felt uneasy about it anyway. Sorry for the posting faux pas. Thank you again for the very quick response. You saved me a lot of headaches, disappointment and money!:ty::urock:

Thank you so much! Makes me feel better because I really like her. She saved my right shoulder after I injured it early this week. I feel awkward carrying a bag with my left shoulder (keeps sliding off), but w/ crossbody I can just sling her on my left shoulder and across my body.

A seller who might sell authentic bags and mixes his listings with fake Coach jewelry and keychains is NOT one I would recommend doing business with. And after seeing that the same seller buys his fakes on iOffer tells me that he knows exactly what he's doing.
