Please authenticate this vintage Coach drawstring bag I found. I have to warn you that the creed and numbers are very faded and I tried my best to picture it If you can see it, the number is 130-9904. Oh, by the way, this is not a backpack.

yesss..i am the winning bidder and already paid for it..i emailed the seller before bidding and she said the item is authentic..

what do i do now?

oh noo...first time buying on ebay and i fall for this..advise me plss.. :(

:wtf: Report the item to eBay as soon as you get it. Be sure to mention that the item you received was a replica (fake item). This is against eBay policy and you will be refunded. Don't mention this to the seller as they may try to "bribe" you by saying that you can return the item for a refund (minus shipping fees). Report it to eBay so that they can take action against the seller and prevent them from selling more replicas in the future. You *may* have to pay for the return shipping to ship it back to the seller but if you open a dispute you can more than likely bargain for the seller to pay for the return shipping as well since it wasn't your fault that they misrepresented the item. Agree with BeingBurned. Fake. The "C's" look big and don't look aligned like the authentic C's are.

I want to call fake on this one. The creed and the "Coach" tag doesn't look good to me. You may want to wait for another opinion but I say fake.

It appears to me to be an authentic "Sonoma Pocket Zip" made of pebbled leather.

The creed wording is right, the lining is right and the hardware is right for the old Sonoma line.

What is the "number" after the M? That will tell you the year it was made.

Tell the seller you want a refund. Let her know you asked about the bag here and if she has questions, she can post them.

As a seller, it's her responsibility to confirm authenticity before listing. Unless a seller buys from a legit retailer, she should ******************. Maybe she believes that a "wholesaler" who told her they were authentic was telling the truth.

ETA: I don't believe that the seller is being honest with you nor do I think she made an "honest" mistake.

Her recent feedback includes an allegation that she sold a fake MJ bag and included a fake receipt.

I just want to comment that I didn't say this bag is fake.

I said I wouldn't bid on it because there aren't enough pictures and the pictures that are there aren't clear enough to see any details.

The pictures all have different backgrounds so I'm not sure the seller is using her own pictures. (Please post the CL listing.)

Even if the seller took the pictures, we need to see more views, including clear photos of the creeds.
