Hello, I was wondering if this bag is authentic and if it was considered vintage or not? I have a cousin who really loves vintage coach and was planning to surprise her with this bag. Also, sorry for the lack of pictures, those are the only ones I have as of now. Thanks in advance and your expertise is greatly appreciated!

I haven't seen it either but have only a few catalogs from that period and it's not in any of them. The basic details look ok but seeing the creed stamp is always necessary.

If it's genuine, it's right on the borderline for "vintage" if you figure the standard definition for the term as 20 years or older. If it's OK, it's probably right around that age, plus or minus a year or two.

The bag appears to be okay but the creed picture is so blurry that it's hard to see much of anything.

As little as I can read on the creed, it doesn't appear to have the same serial number as the seller describes in the description. (Edited to add: I do believe that the creed photo is the same bag as the other picture showing the lining.)

All the other Coach and completed Dooney listings are/were fake.

There's no problem with the lining. The bag is one of the Soft Leather Duffles from 5 years ago. Most all-leather bags from that period had Signature linings. But there IS a problem with the serial number given in the listing not matching the one in the photo. Clearer pics would be better but the first half of the serial looks more like B or G052-.

Yep, almost all the pics except the first one are of a fake. The Cs on the carrier are a dead giveaway.

Thanks so much for your reply. Your expertise is much appreciated! I'll ask for an image of the creed stamp but from your comment on the basic details and that it may be borderline vintage makes me really happy. I'm sure this will make my cousin really happy as well.
