Coach Parker Leather Hippie in white
I bought this on ebay and she labeled it " Coach cream colored leather madison" I think that the white bag was released at 2 different times. My sister got hers in May and then there was a release in August. I got the black one with the letters
E0993-13411
Did that mean I got the white bag that came out the same time as August-with the black version of the release? THanks!
Wondering if the letters mean anything
My sister's says L0993-13411 she got hers as an exchange at the actual store.

I know this is not going to help since I've never seen that mark before.
The following is from a post on the ebay Purse board from years ago. The poster was a collector of all things vintage Coach. She listed the following as the marks that Coach used over the early years. I don't know where the mark on your bag would fit into this list, though maybe someone else has a clue.
1. Fabric Coach "Cashin Carry" label either sewn in or glued in (could be accompanied by the black metal plaque).
2. Black metal plaque alone.
3. The word "Coach" alone (in a frame) embossed in the leather.
4. Coach Creed only.
5. Creed and serial number (with the glued in 7 digit serial number)
6. Creed and 7 digit serial number (serial number not patched in but part of stamping).

Thank you for your input. What made me suspect this was possibly a much older bag was the wheel-mark indents above/below the numbers, when the bags had individual numbers. I read somewhere online(will have to find it again) that some bags had Coach ID numbers before there was a creed statement attached. If I find it again, I'll post it. I'm sure we'll get input on this.
I don't know anything about early vintage Coach but the number stamping looks ok.
Edited because one picture can answer a thousand dumb questions. :shame:

I'm fairly certain that Hyacinth has a post with the correct information...but I can't find it.
To recap: The "1st" letter on the creed is simply the code for the month the bag was manufactured.
The next 2 digits (in this instance) indicate the year the bag was made 09 = 2009.
The next numbers are the numbers for the "factory code" = which Chinese factory made the bag.
After the hyphen the 5 digit number is the "style" number of the bag.

IMO, the pictures in the listing appear to be bluer than the actual color.
