Comments: There is a picture of the creed, but it isn't very clear...
The bag looks fine. The serial number is actually B5C-9948 and it's from 1995. None of the names the seller has listed are correct but there's still some gentle debate as to what the actual name was. Various sources including Coach catalogs identify that style number as a Nottingham Bag although one source calls it a Canterbury, but I'll stick with Nottingham.![]()
It's authentic. The lining is correct for this style.
Although the bag appears to be okay, I have concerns about the seller's honesty.Item: NWT COACH BLACK LEATHER LG BROOKE 14141 HANDBAG PURSE

Would one of you kindly check this out and let me know if it's authentic? TIA!
I have NO clue if it's authentic...but I can't imagine "faking" that bag.
Plus, it certainly looks simple enough to have been designed by that Krakoff person.

Hello, I was wondering if this bag is authentic and if it was considered vintage or not? I have a cousin who really loves vintage coach and was planning to surprise her with this bag. Also, sorry for the lack of pictures, those are the only ones I have as of now. Thanks in advance and your expertise is greatly appreciated!

The seller isn't using her own pictures. She purchased the bag from another seller and is using that seller's pictures and description (as well as a stolen stock photo from Coach). Here is where she purchased the bag:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260637103163
She is also lying in her description where she says: "I personally purchase my items directly from a COACH Store and that is why I can guarantee the authenticity. I inspect each and every COACH item that I purchase to make sure that they are in PERFECT condition before I buy!"
She also sold a fake LV on June 19. I know very little about LV but this one is clearly fake.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170502708145
And she sold the same fake again for 3-times as much money on August 3.

Hmmm. Something strange is going on.
Seller sold this bag on July 5:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170506472514
And listed it again in this listing that ended on August 14:
http://cgi.ebay.com/EUC-Genuine-Coa...ght-Brown-/170514282453?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags
She sold this one also on July 5 to the same bidder as above:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170506476122
And again listed it here, ending on July 12:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170509436951
Surprise! The winning bidder of the original listings is from the same state as the seller.
I would not buy from skibabe183. Seller uses other sellers' pictures, lies in descriptions as to the source of her items, sells fakes and shill bids.
If this bag is listed for sale on ebay or Bonanzle (or another selling site), please post in the format requested on the first post of the thread.Item Name (if you know it):???

LOL! It's anonymized until feedback is left. I went through the feedback both received by the seller and left for others by the seller.Beenburned,
I have a question: how do you find out the details of the winning bidder? I thought that info was private?
