As far as I've seen, the seller sells authentic items and the bag itself doesn't look suspect but the color of the lining throws me too.

I don't think it was "skipped" as much as no one knows for sure whether that color lining was used.

Thanks BB - The lining is soo similar to the fakes that are out there it's hard to determine if it is genuine or not. I guess the fakers had to copy it from somewhere.

That's exactly why I hope someone else will chime in. Maybe there's someone who has that bag and knows the lining Coach used.
Well, she sent me three pix - not very good but does it shed any light?
I still can't find the number but the bag and tags look ok.

I asked for close up pics and the creed # and this is the response I received.
"First, a true serial number is unique. Finding a Coach patch with an actual unique serial number is next to impossible. Coach hasn't used a true serial number for about 10 years. Sure, the older bags had true serial numbers, but not anymore. The myths , urban legends or simple un-truths surrounding "the patch" have caused many a girl to go into a panicked frenzy of sorts after receiving a bag that had a patch with no numbers or worse yet, no patch at all!
There are more than a few different creeds but the most common ones will read something like these:
THIS IS A COACH BAG. IT WAS HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THE FINEST MATERIALS TRIMMED WITH GENUINE LEATHER. ITS SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL REFLECT OUR COMMITMENT TO ENDURING QUALITY."

Given the low feedback, HORRIBLE photos that don't show the entire bag, and the seller's refusal to provide a pic of the creed, I would avoid them.
The seller's reply is BS.
Also the hardware and both hangtags are obvious fakes. Please report.

I believe it's authentic, but I'd like to see a full picture of the creed. I wonder if the serial number is stamped on the creed. I'd also like to see more pictures of the bag.
