Comments: Wish they would of used the macro setting but I definitely see a red flag with the box. also, i don't see the thin white line under the bow ..

i've included pics from the auction and my own for comparison.

please advise.

It's really hard to tell. My gut says it's a close fake but I wouldn't feel confident enough to report it.

I have an older Coach visor (probably purchased in 2004 or 2005) that I put on ebay. I purchased this myself at a Coach retail store (not even an outlet).
A potential buyer on ebay requested more pictures- which I gladly sent- she now said she is not interested because "Coach is not made in Korea". Essentially accusing me of selling a fake item. I am horribly insulted because I HATE fakes, would never carry, sell, or want anything to do with them. I am aware that coach BAGS are never made in Korea, but apparently accessories have been made there. Can someone please confirm this so I can assure this person? I don't care about the sale anymore, I just don't want people thinking I would sell a fake!!!

I would post pics of the visor or the ebay listing but I am not sure if it is against the rules.....

TIA
I recall a question a few months ago about the authenticity of a scarf that had a "made in Korea" label.

There weren't many responses but I recall commenting that there was nothing about the scarf that indicated it was fake.

I'm off to look for the visor.

Edited to add: I searched "coach visor" and there are some fake baseball caps that come up but the visor from the 17-feedback seller from Mass. looks fine.
I found what I was looking for. And it wasn't as long ago as I'd thought it was. In one post, someone asked about a clothing item and in the other, it was a scarf being questioned. It was pointed out that although bags are NEVER made in Korea, some clothing and accessories items are: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-535153-283.html#post14564018 and http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470-96.html#post15343834
