I happened to be directed to this site through my traffic finder on eBay. I am the seller of the #2 Coach Parker Slim Tote this person found and asked about. I am in shock and you have a lot of nerve! I've been selling on eBay for 10 years, perfect feedback. Let me address this, not that I owe you an explanation, but I am furious that you or anyone acts like "God" on here passing judgement and messing with potential sales. My wallet photos I use for ease of use, they are clear, easy to see detail, never had an problems in the past. I never show Creeds. I'm a reputable seller, never felt the need. You don't think fakes have creeds? Creeds are not important, so becaue you don't see one, don't pass judgement. Thirdly, my listings are private due to privacy for my buyers. I have nothing to hide, as again my feedback shows. I have customers email me thanking me for the privacy because I have sold some Big Ticket Jewelry items and they don't want everyone seeing what they've bought or how much they've spent. It's no one's business. I would highly suggest that you don't say a word about my listings again. I would be happy to file a Suit against you for loss of business, swaying potential customers away because you are using false accusations. Again, I'll be checking my eBay more carefully to see what else is coming from this Site and will address it as need be.

I am actually the person selling on eBay for your #2 post! How dare you or anyone say anything negative about my listings. I just commented on a posting from Starry. Now I am replying to yours. I've been selling for 10 years, perfect record. I like to sell wallets, easy to package and ship. I actually have a couple of BAGS of COACH WALLETS sitting on my office floor right now. COACH receipts to show for each and every one also! I like to purchase and list a variety of colors, offer the Slim and Checkbook at the sametime, etc.... so what is so bad about that to you? I go into the Coach Store and easily drop $2k - $3k at a time. Again, who are you to say this publically and mess with potential sales. I am keeping track of each comment and if need be will file a Suit against you for potentially messing with my sales or future sales by swaying customers to not buy because something isn't to your liking! My ebay Tracking is keeping a list of each comment on this site and I will be taking the appropriate actions.

With all due respect, your listings raise red flags. No one stated that the listings are fake. No one accused you of doing anything illegal. But as a seller of highly faked items, I would think you'd do whatever is necessary to have listings that show the important details that prove your items are authentic.

Let me comment on your statements separately:

I never show Creeds. I'm a reputable seller, never felt the need. You don't think fakes have creeds? Creeds are not important, so becaue you don't see one, don't pass judgement.

You should show creeds. Creeds have particular wording, spacing, fonts, date codes, style information, stitching, borders, etc. that are very telling in identifying the diffences between authentic bags and fakes.

As you say, fakes do have creeds, but usually, those creeds have one or more of the following mistakes: wrong text, wrong date and factory codes, wrong style information, wrong font, sloppy stitching, and other problems.

That's why the creed is so important to show. A comparison of authentic vs. fake creeds show differences. Sometimes differences are obvious, sometimes they are more difficult to discern, but it's those differences that can help save a buyer from buying a fake.

And for your own protection, as a seller, you want to show creeds because it can also help to prove authenticity if you had a buyer who accused you of selling a fake.

Thirdly, my listings are private due to privacy for my buyers.

In the olden days, before ebay anonymized buyer and bidder IDs, your justification carried some weight. In the last 4 years or so, ebay has made it so bidder IDs are anonymized, thus they have the privacy you no longer need to provide.

There are certain categories of listings, for example erotic items or fetish listings, for which I understand the reason for private listings.

But in a category such as handbags and accessories, the benefit of public bidding far outweighs the negatives. Buyers can verify whether their sellers have a history of selling authentic items, they can look at bidding and verify that the seller isn't shill bidding, and in general, they can see a seller who is proud of what he/she sells and doesn't need to hide it.

If buyers want privacy, those buyers can make their feedback private. They don't need a seller doing it for them.

My wallet photos I use for ease of use, they are clear, easy to see detail, never had an problems in the past.

Just because you've never had a problem in the past doesn't mean that your listings haven't raised red flags.

You're selling styles of wallets that (conservatively) 75% of all listings are fake. And maybe you aren't aware but many of the counterfeit selling websites use those same collage-style pictures to show views of the wallets. It's unknown whether the pictures are your own, or borrowed from on of "those sites."

Although the pictures may be clear, they are too small to see detail. With all items, but especially wallets, the minute details like thread color, embossed imprints, heat pressed credit card slots and ID windows, are expecially important in distinguishing between real and fake. And with those small pictures, those details are not visible.

And another thing that bothers me is your use of stock photos in many of your listings. Obviously, you have a camera because you take pictures of your bags. Thus there's no need to use Coach's copyrighted stock photos as your gallery picture(s). Those pictures belong to Coach and their website clearly states that they are not to be used for any other purpose than to show their customers what the items look like.

You certainly are welcome to monitor my posts. I express my opinions and comment on whether I think sellers have integrity or not. I state whether I'd do business with a seller based on their listings, their pictures, the amount of information their listings impart and on their feedback, responses, and even their reactions to seeing these types of posts.

There is absolutely no libel; just statements of opinions.

Although you didn't ask for it, if you are willing to listen to constructive criticism, it can add credibility to your listings and help you to be a better seller:

1. More pictures! For bags, show front, back, sides, bottom, strap, hardware, inside lining, and a legible head on creed photo.

2. Wallets: show front, back, interior, closeup of ID window and credit card pockets, zipper pulls, stitching.

And all pictures should be large enough to show detail.

3. Avoid private listings. If you sell authentic items, be proud of it and let it show in your history and feedback. Private listings are a huge red flag tactic used by counterfeit sellers.

Very well said, BB!

Sheesh, it never fails - I go away for a day and come back to something like this. :p

BeenBurned has already very eloquently and clearly stated all the points I would have made.

To the OP: NO ONE was saying your listings were fake. There are certain things that may raise red flags on listings and your listings were displaying some of these red flags. Each of these points has been detailed and elaborated on by BeenBurned. I do hope you'll take the constructive advice given about your listings, which will help make your buyers MORE reassured about the authenticity of your listings, and will lead to better sales.

I didnt have time to authenticate this prior to winning the bid. LOL I was in the middle of a meeting and I had to look out of the corner of my eye and type in my bids!!

Comments: This seller has a LOT of coach bags. I am assuming they're an outlet reseller. However, the feedback is good!

Thanks in advance!

I don't see any problems, but it would be helpful to see a closeup, straight-on picture of the creed.

Comment: Are all these bags authentic? I mean the creeds look good...but I dont ever remember seeing the 1st bag in the listing(Coach Signature Optic Lurex Silver Bag Satchel NWT)...any comments will be helpful...thanks:D
They're all fine.

The first two are from 2005 so if you weren't into Coach back then, you may not be familiar with them. The third is from '06 and is also fine.
