Unusual colors on classic bags always need careful checking since they're often found on fakes. While the details and the creed seem to be ok, I don't remember seeing that color before on a Willis and although I don't have a catalog for every season of 1998, that color wasn't in the catalogs I have so a little extra caution would be a good idea. If you bid, please pay with Paypal funded by a credit card so that you have several ways to go if you need to file a claim or get a refund.

Thanks for all the great information! The description did say "rare" color but if it's too obscure, even if it's authentic I don't want to take the chance. I already got the red Willis from my first request so that color pop will be good enough for me :smile1:

Yes - Coach bags have been made in the U.S., Italy, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico (although the creeds said Made in the USA), Costa Rica, Hungary, Turkey, Mexico, (probably) Thailand, and currently in China, India, Vietnam and most recently in the Philippines. Smaller accessories have been made in even more places, including Spain.

The second one is sending out red flags. The style just doesn't look right and what I can see of the strap clips doesn't either. I've never seen a combination Signature Stripe and Scarf Print before. You may want to wait for confirmation but that one's probably reportable.

ETA - On second thought, please report the second one. That design just makes no sense and there should only be a clip on one end of the strap.

thanks, the seller did get back to me with more information - the creed on the second one is co4u1202, so that is more confirmation that it is fake.
