They both seem ok but I've never seen that color on the second one before. And it's really hard to tell from the photos if the dowel actually has a piece of leather over the end or if the wood is just painted to match the bag. If it's the second, then there's definitely a problem and you need to let us know when you receive it.

Thanks a lot!

so if the dowel end only has exposed wood, then it's not authentic?

That's usually the case. There should be a matching piece of leather over both ends of the dowel. While it's possible for the leather piece to come loose, it doesn't happen often so exposed and/or painted-to-match wood is a red flag.

Unusual colors on classic bags always need careful checking since they're often found on fakes. While the details and the creed seem to be ok, I don't remember seeing that color before on a Willis and although I don't have a catalog for every season of 1998, that color wasn't in the catalogs I have so a little extra caution would be a good idea. If you bid, please pay with Paypal funded by a credit card so that you have several ways to go if you need to file a claim or get a refund.

Authentic ? What is it ? LOL

It's an Ergo Mini Satchel from Spring 1998 and it looks genuine. Please note the size as it's a very small bag.

Also, the seller's use of "authenticity number" is misleading, whether deliberate or not - no number, patch, card or anything else that can be attatched to or placed inside a Coach can ever prove that it's authentic. The details of the bag itself are the only things that can prove it's genuine.

Wow, thanks ! I like it but it looks bigger in the auction and I suck at understanding measurements. I tend to buy Hobo or Lg listings. I have 2 smaller bags but they are "out on the town" bags.

new c's , and the bottom corners seem off color.

thanks

Someone besides me needs to look at the first one. But I'd be very cautious dealing with a seller who deals in highly-faked brands like Burberry and True Religion but please wait for more opinions.

The second one is sending out red flags. The style just doesn't look right and what I can see of the strap clips doesn't either. I've never seen a combination Signature Stripe and Scarf Print before. You may want to wait for confirmation but that one's probably reportable.

ETA - On second thought, please report the second one. That design just makes no sense and there should only be a clip on one end of the strap.

Both are fake. Look at the horrible creed and lining in the first one!

Comments: See the seller's other listing, too. These worry me because the zipper pull is huge, the C's are huge, and the C's don't line up across the front. I have only seen the style number with a print. I have also seen a black one, but the c's are much smaller, and I don't think Coach would make two black ones that are so similar. I would be very surprised if these were real, but people are bidding.

thanks!

This is fake and so is the black one the seller has for sale.

Keep a ruler next to your computer, or a note pad or something else that's what you'd consider the minimum usuable size you'd be happy with that you've compared to the bags you use the most. Remember, a CD is only 5 inches across - could what you need to carry fit inside something barely bigger than a CD?

Hello, I'm new to the "Coach" phenomenon and I'm wanting to know if this Coach item is authentic, thanks for any and all assistance.

Welcome to TPF! I've reformatted your post using the format in Post #1 to help with item and seller searches.

The Audrey tote looks good.

Good idea ! Yeah. I need more then a CD`s worth and I already have two bags simply for ID and money and phone. I usually carry a BlackBerry Playbook Tablet with me too so I like something a bit bigger :smile1:
