Thank you so much! I'm so impressed with all you ladies! Thanks for taking the time to help us newbies/non-experts.

The first one's ok.

I don't believe the second one's genuine, the style number is wrong and the plant code is invalid. It's not a Willis Bag either.

The third is a genuine Scout Bag from 1992

One of the numbers in the serial is missing in the fourth one and without photos of the creed stamp there's no way I would buy it (or any other bag). The missing digit is probably a 9, and 0974-534 is a known fake serial number and is on the Fakes list at the Answers to Authenticity Questions thread, go back to the questions from around March. The strap also doesn't look genuine.

I just purchased this, what do you guys think?

Also I'm thinking of this one, same type of Willis but different color (gorgeous). Authentic?

They both seem ok but I've never seen that color on the second one before. And it's really hard to tell from the photos if the dowel actually has a piece of leather over the end or if the wood is just painted to match the bag. If it's the second, then there's definitely a problem and you need to let us know when you receive it.

You're welcome :smile1:

I picked this up at the local Salvation Army some time ago and haven't carried it yet. Still trying to decide what it is.....if it's authentic or not? Hopefully you can read the creed. Sorry for the crappy cell pix

Comments: See the seller's other listing, too. These worry me because the zipper pull is huge, the C's are huge, and the C's don't line up across the front. I have only seen the style number with a print. I have also seen a black one, but the c's are much smaller, and I don't think Coach would make two black ones that are so similar. I would be very surprised if these were real, but people are bidding.

thanks!

Comments: looks like a Peyton #14525, but I have never seen it in brown, with the
new c's , and the bottom corners seem off color.
