Authenticate this COACH

A coworker of mine showed me the website http://www.docoach.com I told her that it isn't legit, but I just wanted to post here to check! =D!

COMPLETELY fake! The reason it looks almost legit is because all the graphics and a lot of the merchandise photos that look like genuine bags are illegally stolen right from Coach's website. They don't even show the right names for most of the styles they're ripping off.

The only company IN THE WORLD authorized to use Coach's name in their site name or URL is Coach.com. EVERYONE else doing it is selling fakes. If a nylon Kipling bag sells for 80 or 90 dollars, there's no possible way a real Coach would sell for the same price.

And "Boston Bags"? Sorry, that name was never used by Coach.

MIL gave me this bag. It's likely to be legit, as she shops pretty much exclusively at Bloomies, but it feels a little less substantial than newer bags so I want to double check. Let me know what other photos would be helpful.

That's something I've never seen before. It looks like the Anniversary date stamped into the creed is 1888 which seems early but I haven't been able to find any date for the actual beginning of the US Olympic Team, just the date of the first modern Games in 1896 and the founding of the first International Olympic Committee 2 years before that. But the serial number is definitely from before 1990.

All the official 1996 Atlanta 100th Anniversary bags were sport styles that often used Velcro so it's not surprising that it would have been used on an earlier style.

I can't prove that it's genuine but can't see any reason that it wouldn't be.

BTW, mousing over some of the links in that site's very repetitive blog shows an older URL for the site of "coach4sale.com" with exactly the same graphics as this one. That site was checked into last year and was fake back then too - read what BeenBurned posted about the website's location:

The bag in this listing (which you found on the web) is authentic but I don't think it was LE. Perhaps someone else can answer that part of the question.

As for the suede kit, I'm pretty sure it was originally included with the bag.

I am being so thrown off by this bag because out of EVERY bag that I have seen that is a 11134 on ebay as well as elsewhere on the internet, they all have the extra stitching that goes up and around the closure. This one doesnt. What's up with that? thanks
