Name: New Authentic COACH 12963 Navy C double strap Handbag
Seller: cim33zc
Item: 280693161857
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Authentic-C...857?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item415a9dbf81
Comments: I've never seen this in navy, and the back pocket looks a little too high.
thanks

I'm seeing a bunch of problems when I compare it to a real one. Wrong shoulder strap, missing hangtags, Carriage plaque Coach logo looks like the background is a brass color, wrong clips on the shoulder strap... yikes.

Compare it to this one from a seller I've bought from:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-COACH...655?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item588e4b6c57

Wait for confirmation but my Spidey-sense says fake.

ETA - Sniped by BB!!! :D

Do not buy from cim33zc. Her Coach items are fake.
It's fake for the reasons you describe as well as additional things wrong with the bag.

Here's an authentic listing to compare:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-COACH...655?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item588e4b6c57

The seller also has this other current fake:

Thanks, I've been dying for Coach to make more items in navy. The wristlet is more obvious.

Just a comment regarding listing #1 from jgballance.

Although that bag is fake, there is at least one style of authentic signature hobo that is horribly mismatched. In fact, these were so bad that they were reduced (at one time) to about $30 at the outlets, probably because they weren't seller since they looked fake.

Here are some pics of style 10483. This bag has the pattern perfectly centered, matched and aligned on the front but the back makes it look like a fake. The pictures aren't the all the same bag but are the same style. Some pictures showed the "problem" more clearly than others

Front: Centered, matched:

Thanks, I reported them.

Just a comment about the YKK Zipper rule. I can't find YKK on any of the zippers of my Coach bags, all from 2004 to 2011. None of them seem to have any brand markings at all.
There is NO YKK zipper rule. The only places that have the "rule" is in all those useless authenticity guides that are written by so-called "experts" who haven't a clue what they're talking about. Most of them probably never even saw a Coach bag and got their expertise from someone else's guide.

Hyacinth's post here talks about zippers: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...enticity-questions-94198-37.html#post18503401

Wow, thanks. It depresses me when I see Coach making mistakes like that.

I looked up YKK zippers, and it seems that the YKK is stamped on the pull part. On all of my Coach's, the zipper's pull has been replaced with a ring and a leather pull. So I assume that is why I can't find any brand name on any of them. I'm wondering where people are finding them on their purses.
I saw a listing the other day that said that their purse had a YKK zipper, and that as any Coach expert knows, that is absolute proof that it is authentic! I wanted to tell her she was so wrong, but I chickened out!

I just realized that my eyes are just too bad to see any logos! I think I can make out a YKK or some letters on the part of the zipper the pull is attached to on at least one of my purses. I'm not going to try to strain my eyes any more to try to see it on any others, since it doesn't matter anyway!

Hmmm. I'm not comfortable with seller luvthebid09. I'm not sure where the pictures are coming from and which (if any) are her own photos. I'm sure that at least one of the pictures - the last one with the water bottle - is from another either Malaysian or Singapore website yet the seller has put her own watermark on someone else's picture.

The first (gallery) picture is a different bag with different pattern placement than the other pictures.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend a seller who doesn't use her own pictures of her own item(s). Who knows what you'll get if you buy from her.

Welcome to tPF! For future requests, please post in the format requested in the first post of the thread as it's helpful in future seller ID and item searches: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470.html#post14912099
