The listing says the bag was "sent off" for some work and leather now looks fabolous. Sounds like they dyed it me.
Exactly. If it was already so pristine and perfect, why did it need rejuvenating? All it should have needed was a quick conditioning, if that.
And don't you like how s/he's wearing white gloves in the photos? Either that dye is still sticky enough to show fingerprints, or it's really hard to get off your hands. I wouldn't want to wear anything besides black clothes while carrying that bag - and the other ones he's selling.
They also have a "Bonnie Cashin" bag advertised for a ridiculous price. But the bag is a Laurel Bag from the Lightweights line and didn't even come out until 1990 - Bonnie Cashin left Coach in 1974.
I wouldn't trust energyambit as far as I could throw him.
