There aren't enough pictures. We need to see both front and back of the bag, a clear and readable creed, side, bottom, strap and a clear closeup of the plaque.

The turn lock doesn't look right but it may be newer the reason I haven't seen one that looks like that before? I really only scope out vintage. The creed looks funny to me too but again could be because it's fabric and not pressed into the leather?

I just found a Royalton at the thrift store today. It's not red but it is a gorgeous bag, see link below. I hope that you get a red one that's in great shape!

By US law they would have had to sew in labels giving the place of manufacture, fabric content and washing instructions if it was to be sold or distributed in the US. The fabric-content-care labels have been required here for a lot longer than Coach has been making Signature C fabric. The US Textile Fiber Products Identification Act was originally passed in 1958.

And if it had been made for the Asian market I'm sure most countries Coach is distributed in have similar rules (and Asian sizes run much more in the XS-S) range.

So no, I'd be willing to bet that Coach didn't make that. It sounds like this year's version of the infamous Scribble Bikini.

Both look ok. The C's don't always line up at the seams on the bottom of the bag.

Agree. There needs to be many more pictures. It's especially important to see a clear, closeup picture of the creed. I would not buy without seeing additional pictures, as this style is highly faked.

No red flags, but there needs to be a picture of the creed. If you're looking for another one, the name of the bag is Peyton Woven Leather Tote and the style number is 14527.
