Thank you so much for doing all of those. Can you tell me what the difference is between the Slim Carly and the Carly?

No problem! The Slim Carly is slimmer than the regular Carly. The regular (both medium and large) Carly has a wider base/bottom and can (usually) stand up on its own. The Slim Carly is narrower and doesn't have a flat base and can't stand on its own. Also the strap drop is longer on the Slim Carly.

Item: Parker OP Shoulder

Seller: Lizet2008

Comments: My sister's been looking for this bag. The pictures aren't the greatest and the bottom looks "off" to me... TIA!

I'd like to see more pics, including pictures of the sides of the bag, the Coach logo and turnlock detail on the sides, the inside of the bag, and the hangtag. What about the bottom of the bag looks funny to you?

^^ I know the bottom on the OP Art isn't supposed to line up perfectly or anything, but I just thought that it really looked mismatched?!

I'll ask for some more pics. Thanks for the help Starry!

I agree. I wouldn't want to buy from nor sell to this seller.

After reading the posts at Ebay's own Purses board, I posted a warning about this seller at the Ebay board here:
http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/e-bay-non-paying-bidder-list-165307-32.html#post12087191

It probably would have come up if you searched the forums here for the seller's ID. That's one of the reasons posters are being asked to include seller IDs in their authentication requests. Here's what comes up when you use the drop-down Search link in the blue bar (the one that begins with My Control Panel) near the top of the page - click on the arrow next to SEARCH and then in the circle that says "Show Posts"
http://forum.purseblog.com/search.php?searchid=10699485

Try to Search for the seller's name or the item number first, before you post your question. Sometimes someone will already have posted an answer about the same item or seller.

I paid next to nothing for it so its not a big deal! I am so curious how these manufactures can sell such good fakes! That's like selling fake Nike's with the swish trademarks! Just unreal! Can you give me some tell tales signs it is fake? I am thinking right off that its the serial number among other things?

What's so hard about making a fake Swish? Or a fake logo, patch, fabric, tag, buckle, or anything else? ANYTHING A MAKER CAN MAKE, A FAKER CAN FAKE.

How accurate the fake is just depends on how much money the crooks are willing to spend on making their junk. That's why some very accurate fake Carlys sell for $100 or more on the fakes sites to their "trusted" buyers, and some nasty cheap tacky pieces of garbage - bags AND wallets - can be bought for 20 bucks on Canal Street or Santee Alley.

Making and selling fakes is a multi-BILLION-dollar business, run by large groups of professional criminals and organizations including a dozen terrorist organizations and various national versions of the Mafia in most of the major countries of the world. Why do you think they'd make obvious mistakes if they were really trying to make an accurate fake? That would be like counterfeiting hundred-dollar bills with a picture of Hello Kitty on the front.

And that's nothing compared to the accuracy of some of the really high-line fakes out there, like some LVs. That's one reason why someone who isn't very familiar with both fake and genuine bags is discouraged from trying their hand at authentication. They have NO idea how close some of those copies are or even what to look for to figure out if they're real.
