Hello all
I would like your help with a bag. I bought a black Coach Legacy flap bag from eBay a few months ago. Now I have only recently noticed (!) that the creed has a 'X' stamped/embossed in the top left hand corner (I want to insert a pic but the file size is too large to be inserted :( ). The 'X' is not coloured, just a 'stamp' into the creed. I was surprised to see also that the stitching on one of the inner pockets has come loose from one corner as well - I expected Coach bags to be more robust than that (I had been using it as an everyday bag)!

My question is: is the bag fake, real or a 'second'? Or something else?! What does the stamped/embossed cross on the creed mean? Can somebody help with this please? I am considering reselling this on eBay as I don't really use it any more, but I would not sell a fake...your advice is appreciated!

Thanks

Hi! First of all, we will need to see pictures of your bag before we can comment on authenticity. You can create a free Photobucket account and upload your pictures there and then post the links to the photos here. Please post pics of the bag from various angles and a clear, readable picture of the creed.

An X stamp on the creed means that the bag was likely sent to a discount department store like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc.

Also, what are you thoughts about a seller without a lot of feedback (100% though)? The seller has sold a few coaches previously as well. Thanks!!!

I think it looks okay. But if you could include a link to the listing, it's often helpful to see the seller's current, completed and feedback history.
