I'm just a bit concerned that the stitching came loose (I didn't expect it to happen so quickly) and about the stamped 'X' in the top left of the creed - but as Starrymaz says, is that a sign that it's gone to a discount outlet? That doesn't make it inauthentic?!

That's fake. 1417 is a style number commonly seen on fakes. This is what 1417 should look like:

It appears that the seller sold the same item yesterday. Perhaps the buyer realized it was fake so the seller has relisted. hmmm.
