Someone wants to give me 2 coach bags in trade for a chair I'm selling. Here are the pics. Could someone authenticate these please?? I'm concerned because the bag with the signature CC's also has the CC's on the inside...

First pic is Bag 1.
I think 2nd pic is inside of Bag 2.
3rd pic is bag 2.
4th pic I think is inside of bag 1.

Both serial numbers supposedly say "A2J-6094"

I honestly can't even read the Creed on the 1st bag.

Help?

Coach's serial number tags are ALWAYS TYPED in all caps. The serial number should be "No XXX-XXXX"

Whoa nelly, let's clear this up before we give people false information. As for that bag, I am not 100% sure. If it's fake, it's not a bad one. The creed looks meh, the stripes look ok (possibly thin), but the material seems too tight to me for some reason. I don't usually know the fake legacy siggy bags well, but I know the leather ones very well. I am sure starry or hyacinth can answer to this one. The text on the creed does seem a bit odd but I can't tell if it's because the photo is too big or not. I will go photo some of mine for reference.

Next, I am sorry but you are incorrect about the creeds. For one, most of this legacy line, it's creeds appeared to be "written" in gold marker (not typed) and they were not xxx-xxxx. They also were not in all capital letters. They were all xxxx-xxxxx or xxxxx-xxxxx. I know this because I own a good haul of them. In fact I believe anything post 2004 was xxxx-xxxxx or xxxxx-xxxxx -- one of the other ladies on her could state that for certain or not.

I have attached the creeds from my Leigh, my Lily and my Luci.

I agree with you! The legacy creeds are "written" in gold cursive. However, I think the first bag is fake. Look at how sloppy the writing is. The "e" in "enduring" is barely legible.

The second bag she posted looks authentic to me. Again, compare the writing and look at the "e".

Obviously wait on other opinions of course!

I agree there is something "off" with that creed. It's like there is too much space between words. I also think something is fishy with those stripes. Plus the tag says SOH SIG SATCHEL. I don't think that is right. The style no is right and the color looks right.

Edit: Also the buckles on the front pockets are too small and the serial number on the creed is the wrong size. The creed normally doesn't stretch that close to the outer edges of the leather patch.

I have never seen an Coach purse come with a box, and yet one seller on ebay told me "All Coach bags that come from a retail store come with a gift box". What do you think of that? Would you then assume this seller also sells fakes? :shrugs:

I know you can ask for a gift box. I just bought my Sabrina from a Coach store and it did not come with a box. She just put it in the dust bag. So no, I would not say that ALL bags come with a box.

I believe they only come with a box if you ask for them to be "gift wrapped". Regardless, that alone isn't enough information to say that the seller is selling all fakes.

OK I get that legacy bags are handwritten creeds.. but can someone help me with the other ones I posted? I honestly can't tell if these are real or fake.... See original post at the top of this page pleassseeee. :)

ANY bag with a serial number ending in -6094 that isn't a Signature Demi IS A FAKE.

THIS is a 6094 - tell your "trader" to keep her trashy fakes.
