Which style Carly are you asking about? Signature? leather? What size? All Carlys in the same style will have the same digits in the second half of the number. The digits in the first half show the month, year and plant codes so those can be the same OR different.

And don't use serial numbers as proof that a bag's authentic, many fakes have correct serial numbers.

If you're asking about a bag in an auction or internet listing, please post the URL of the item here so we can check it.
these are the pics i was sent to my email. on page 374, they didn't send me a real good pic of the serial #. thank you for the info.

Hi, found this rare ergo crossover. Could someone tell me whether this is authentic? TIA!

It looks ok to me. BTW, when you post links from Photobucket, use the IMG code. This way your photos will show up in your post. No biggie, though, I was able to copy and paste your links to view the photos.

I can't view the pics. If they're in your email, first try saving them to your computer and then uploading them here. If they're too large to upload, you might want to try using something like Photobucket. Let me know if you need help with the pics.

Hey thanks! That's what I figured about emailing the seller. I didn't want the nasty retaliation from them! I sell authentic coach and I read on here somewhere that one of the other girls had the person report THEM to ebay!!

Thanks for your help!

Sorry, this bag is NOT authentic. Just a warning to those out there that the counterfeiters are getting better and better with copying Carlys, and have started to get better at replicating the creeds too. I've seen both signature AND leather fake Carlys on ebay that look scarily real. Leather is not often faked and the ones that are faked are quite obvious, however, I saw a fake leather Carly the other day on ebay that seemed so deceptively real, it might even have fooled those who are familiar with Coach. There were only a few subtle details that were wrong, one being the creed.

As for the bag in your pics, there are several details that are wrong. While I don't want to get into too much detail in explaining why (counterfeit sellers may be reading this), but I'll say that there are problems with the creed (sloppy stitching and color of stitching), the fabric looks cheap, and the hardware doesn't look right.

Is this from ebay? If so, could you post the link to the auction? As always, people need to be careful when buying a highly faked style, especially now with this new "batch" of fake Carlys out there.
