The sellers often know they're selling a fake, and contacting them will just get you a nasty and often obscene email in return. Let Ebay take the flack.

Which style Carly are you asking about? Signature? leather? What size? All Carlys in the same style will have the same digits in the second half of the number. The digits in the first half show the month, year and plant codes so those can be the same OR different.

And don't use serial numbers as proof that a bag's authentic, many fakes have correct serial numbers.
