Nope, the first part of the number on bags made after 1994 includes a year code and Coach's manufacturing codes and the second part is the style number. The same style bag can have either identical or different numbers depending on where and when it was made.

The last time each bag had its own individual serial number was 1993 and those were the older leather bags. There's an explanation of Coach's serial numbers in post #34 of the Answers to Authenticity questions thread:

Thanks!! I didn't know that eBay Express is the same as BIN. What a dope!:graucho:

I asked for more pictures, but their camera isn't working. :yes: The seller swears it's authentic, but didn't tell me where they bought it or their return policy. Oh well. I'll keep looking.
