Comments:

Yeah, this one is a rare old one. I don't know if y'all authenticate for bags this vintage, but I sure hope so! I've been watching forever for a Cashin era bag that isn't brown, black, red or beige! Thank you thank you for looking!

I can't speak to its authenticity, but that is a great bag!! I hope it works out!!

Thank you everyone for confirming what I suspected.

Did you see my post #14568?

The text on the creed is wrong. It states that the bag is a goat leather bag trimmed with metallic finish.

IMO, that's definitely not a mistake Coach would have made.

The fake creed isn't even a good copy of the standard stamped and non-gilded creed. Here's a genuine one from the same plant, month and year the fake is supposed to be from, the spacing isn't right. I'm assuming the first digit in the fake creed is supposed to be a "G":

NWT Coach LEATHER Icing Cupcake Pave Crystal Jewel Keychain Charm KEY FOB NEW

Did you Zoom in on the hangtag? It's REALLY bad, the border is broken up into a dozen sections by gaps that aren't supposed to be there. I know hangtags can't prove anything but this one really looks bad and the proportions feel wrong. Picture below.

As for color, who knows? I've seen color variations on at least another dozen keychain styles so usually don't worry about it.
Interesting observation re the broken lines on the hangtag. It almost looks like faux stitching.

Another thing that bothered me is the break in the link. I checked the links on several of my own fobs and none have this obvious a separation.

It's hard to tell from the seller's pictures but the frosting (yellow) and cherry are supposed to be patent leather. Her pictures appear to be matte.

I'd really love to see the back of the cupcake and the back of the lozenge.

OR maybe they actually did make 2 versions, the early one with the more elaborate leather trim, and then simplified it during the production run or when making it for the outlets. Does anyone know?
Based on the text of the Poshmark seller's creed describing a goat leather bag with metallic leather finish, I don't think that's the case here.

It's happened before where Coach posted a preproduction photo of an upcoming style but made changes before production, and the fakes makers copied the photo and ended up with a fake that didn't match the actual item - there was a Snaphead keychain where the early photos showed 7 snaphead charms but the actual keychain was eventually made with only 5, and all those 7-charm versions are fakes that were based on preproduction photos.
Another example of a difference between the stock photo and the final version was in the sun fob, style 92006. The colors of the rays were reversed in the final version but the fakes are like the stock photo.

See the edit I made to my original answer - looks like it might be ok, and that Coach better get a new stamping press for their hangtags.

Oops, I hadn't seen the edit. My own pictures of the hangtag aren't great but I think when I enlarge it, I see the same broken lines.

They all look ok

Good Morning Experts! first time to seek your advice but try to follow your posts on a regular basis. Now, my problem is a bag that was just removed by ebay for violation. As I am not a large volume seller by any means I DO strive to be an honest one & maintain high standards. As the ad has been pulled I will enclose photos of bag in question. Personally I see NO problems with it but will defer to your assessment. (you might also know how to pull up a removed ad) The only thing not original to the bag is the hang tag & that was mentioned in the ad. Any help you can give will be most appreciated.TIA!

Good morning!
I acquired this bag a while ago and while it seems to be okay I am not 100% so would like your wonderfully cultivated expert opinion(s).
I know the "feet" are missing.
Thanks so much!
