Good Morning Experts! first time to seek your advice but try to follow your posts on a regular basis. Now, my problem is a bag that was just removed by ebay for violation. As I am not a large volume seller by any means I DO strive to be an honest one & maintain high standards. As the ad has been pulled I will enclose photos of bag in question. Personally I see NO problems with it but will defer to your assessment. (you might also know how to pull up a removed ad) The only thing not original to the bag is the hang tag & that was mentioned in the ad. Any help you can give will be most appreciated.TIA!
I don't see any problems at all. It's not even questionable, in my opinion. Could it have been removed for a reason other than authenticity, such as a disclaimer, or keyword spamming? Maybe there is a clue in your title and your wording. Did you use your own pictures? Could someone have reported your listing for copyright because you used their pictures or wording?

I used my own photos (these plus a few more) It was advertised as Vintage Coach NYC Stewardess. I am very careful to stick to facts in my ads.The only thing I can think of is perhaps this armchair authenticator thinks all Stews should be stamped 9525. I wish I could direct them here! Thanks Whateve!

Even if someone had reported it, I don't think ebay would remove an item based on one report unless it was from someone trusted.

I would call ebay and complain. They probably won't tell you why it was removed but I would keep complaining up the chain until they remove the defect from my account and allow me to relist. Ebay has been sued over this and lost.

I can try but had rather be horse-whipped than call the Bay :D

I'm curious. Were any other of your listings removed at the same time? I wonder whether they removed that bag as "just in case" it violates a policy.

As Whateve asked, are you sure it was counterfeit as the reason for the removal? What did the takedown notice say? If it's some type of key word or other violation, you might be able to relist by removing whatever caused them to remove the listing.

Definitely call ebay because at the very least, you want to get that "counterfeit ding" removed from your record.

If the takedown reason is because they accused you of listing a fake, it's possible that you can obtain a professional authentication to submit and get permission to relist.

Since we can't see the listing I don't know why Ebay would have removed it. What did their notice actually say, and were the photos in the listing the same or similar to the ones you posted here? The pictures of the bag you're asking about show a genuine Coach Stewardess Bag, style 9525 from some time between the early 1980s and 1987.

ETA - Whoops, I'm late to the party, as usual.

Anyway, it's genuine. BeenBurned gives good advice - you need to get that ding off your Ebay records.

Hello! Could I please get authentications on these 3 thriftees? 25% off at Goodwill for Earth Day! Thank you so much!

Item: Compact Pouch
Dimensions: 8 x 7.5 x 1.5, strap drop 22
Seller: Goodwill (in my possession)
Comments: Suspicious by association, haha - it was in with two other vintage fakes, one of which I stupidly bought in my excitement (missed the indentations on the turnlock backing!)

The message on the removal was 'Trademark Violation' so I assume that to mean fake.
No, no other removals. This is the first & only. I will contact eBay when time permits and try & get to the bottom of this. Thank You Whateve, Been Burned & Hyacinth for you good advice & support.
