Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

HOW freakin LAME can COACH get? Pasting Snoopy patches on rehabbed bags that US Women were oh-so so HAPPY to rehab for COACH for 70 bucks-and then COACH resells them for the lowlow price of 900 bucks....

Nothing like a good giggle to get a Friday morning started…I absolutely agree with you both :) And I wonder if I'll ever find one of the new bags with the 14K dinosaur charm at GW…oh some kids in my area are pretty dumb when they clean out Grammy's closed. I can dream, can't I ???

Duuh…I meant Grammy's CLOSET :)

I just can not look at the new repurposed bags or their price tags..but it will be funny when one day- maybe a few years from now-you walk into GW & find a COACH with a personalized creed patch. It will happen ya know..some guy will write sweet nothings to his beloved, then they will split up. How can the woman keep the COACH bag NOW? It will be a constant reminder of her bad taste in men!! (Think of me that day please:supacool::coolio: )

But it is so inaccurate to write "Every Coach bag has a Storypatch inside" since that is simply NOT TRUE!
I just had a chat on line with the customer care specialist and he told me that their "old designer" did not use story patches on some of their smaller pieces and accessories but that in the last 2.5 years ALL handbags have them. EIther way, they should change that wording to be more accurate.

They both seem to be Duffle Drawstring Spectator Bags style 6022 from around 1990-91, and the measurements seem to match Coach's pretty closely - 9" at the base x 12 1/2 inches high by 9" across

It seems to be a genuine Twin Clutch, but I don't see any creed photo? We need that for a solid authentication.

Good morning and Aloha Friday to you all. My mom found this black Coach wristlet at a garage sale and asked if I could get it authenticated for her. Any details as to style name and number would be greatly appreciated as well. Here's the link to the pics. I think the wrist strap is missing or it was taken off by the prior owner.
