Thanks for your quick response and all the good news. Yes the fob is stamped Coach on the back. I'm not tuned in to the key fobs but I have seen quite a few posts of yours here about them so I know they are collectible. I did an ebay search and didn't see anything that matched this one though so thought it may not have been a separate item.

Thanks for checking it out. There is a little bit of verdigris here and there on the brass. Zipper pocket goes all the way across the back of the purse. Creed is not as lumpy IRL.
You're welcome!

Coach Small Framed Pouch 9990 Aqua
L6D-9990

I just purchased this but the color and the fact that it still had it's tag kind of alarmed me. When were aqua green coach bags produced?

Comment: Was the NYC 'A' plant still producing bags in 1996?
Officially the NYC plant stopped production in 1994 when the new plant codes were introduced. We've seen several authentic bags with the A code up through at least 1998. They may have used the A designation when bags were produced there for training purposes, and possibly for pilot bags. The bag in the listing looks fine. I noticed that the zipper pull is longer than others I've seen but we've seen variations in styles made in the different plants.

I am curious about this. How do they know it's Coach?

Item: Coach Designer Bonnie Cashin Kisslock & Clark Zipper Clutch Wallet

Listing number: 141564210658
Seller: akatanrider

They didn't actually say it was Coach. They said "Coach designer Bonnie Cashin." Bonnie Cashin was the first designer for Coach but she was never an employee. She was an independent contractor who also made bags for other brands. We've seen some of the early Coach bags that she designed with only a Bonnie Cashin label. We don't know if there was originally a Coach label or a Coach box, or if one of the ways they enticed her was to give her "top billing." I don't think Coach was involved in the production of this particular bag.
