Good evening everyone! Could someone please authenticate these two bags I found recently at one of my local favorite spots? Both are in my possession. Thanks!

Has anyone seen a coach station bag with a handle like this? It's an older version as the hang tag says coachleatherware

Coach station bag

Fake. I can't see the serial number but it has one of the fake Bean Bag creed stamps, the long strap was not made by Coach, and as you've already pointed out, the handle is completely wrong. The shape of the hangtag isn't right either. And MOST important, the inside pocket in the Station Bag never had a zipper.

Thanks! I wondered as I had never seen the station bag with a handle like that. I have owned a de but thought made if it was a really old vintage one that they might have changed. I feel really stupid now as right after you said that about the station not having an inside zipper that I had forgotten they didn't. Thanks again ladies. That's twice now you saved me from buying a fake Coach. You guys are great.

Thanks again for all your help. I wondered if you could just confirm this one. I purchased this one recently and it's from 1995 and it looks like all my others. I am trying to purchase a few of the older Willis bags as they were such a higher quality then. It had a lot of scratches on the outside but I was able to get them out.

The early B plant numbers are tricky. I've seen at least 2 slightly different versions that both seem to be genuine. The original listing you posted doesn't show any of the details we need to see, so it would be a big help if you could post photos of the ends of the dowels, the back plate of the turnlock on the front flap showing the prongs, and a straight-on photo of the front of the bag.

The creed photo is taken at a slight angle and that's flattening out the fonts a bit. Yours is probably ok but a few more photos would help us be sure.

And a good Sunday to all. I went at risk and purchased this bag without having it authenticated first. Bad me. So now I'm looking for expert input to see if my impressions were justified (and make me at least feel better about having paid more than I probably should have). Also, though I know that this is the wrong thread for asking, if anyone can provide me with the correct style number and name for this particular design it would be much appreciated.

Comments: The construction of this bag compares favorably with that of a couple of narrower NYC-made style 5130 Shoulder Pouch Large (Station Bag) I have here. In the past, I've heard of this style referred to as the "School Bag," but can't seem to locate anything that definitely identifies it.

Thank you once again for your time and for sharing your expertise.
