Hi, I just purchased this but couldn't clearly see the creed. It's a Willis bag from 1994 but should end with 9927 but it has 4082. It had the made in the Usa at the very bottom of the creed so I'm not that familiar with these creeds. Can someone please authenticate this. I hope it's authentic but now I'm thinking maybe not. Thanks so much!

The font doesn't look the same as others from the same year and plant. I'm pretty sure this is fake but would like other opinions. TIA.

Another same year and plant. Notice the underscore difference, the placement of the "N" in No. and overstamps. Font is slightly different too, I believe:

But the creed is different from the blue one:

The font is wrong. If you look at the picture of the pocket, do you think the zipper goes all the way across? There could be end pieces of leather, a frame, around the zipper. It's hard to tell.

I agree with you and Whateve, the font is wrong. I'd also love to see the strap where it's clipped to the bag and the other half of the magnetic snap.

LOL! While reporting the seller's listing for the blue bag, I found that the seller had already (previously) sold a red one of the same style.

I could have saved myself the time I spent searching for an authentic H6D creed had I just looked at her completed listings! She sold a red genuine one too.

I'm sorry but I can't recommend redryder330.

3 of the seller's listings are stolen from Coach or other sources. Additionally, the other images that may or may not be the seller's own pictures aren't adequate to authenticate the bag.

Additionally, I posted a thread warning buyers to use caution when purchasing Swagger style bags because they're being very closely faked.

Unless sellers show many clear pictures of the bag, I don't recommend buying. Swaggers should be looked at carefully by experts.

The bag is fake.

If you haven't paid for it yet, don't. If you have paid, let the seller know the bag is counterfeit and you want a refund.

Another ETA: This isn't sbrady56 's first rodeo with fakes. My records show fakes were reported in 2013 and 2015.

In fact, part of my report from March 2, 2015 stated "N is the plant code only for Mexico yet this creed shows made in US, INVALID style number - this bag is NOT style 4082" so SBRADY56 knows this bag is fake and still wants to sell it nearly a year later!

I don't recommend sbrady56.

I asked her to send it to me and received this: Hi, I sent the Coach Creed picture...did you receive it? I will gladly refund your money if you would prefer, but the bag does have the serial number which shows it is authentic. Just let me know! Thank you, Diane

No, the bag opening is narrow and it's difficult to get a straight on picture.

The picture you posted is fine and is enough to confirm that the bag is absolutely fake.

And as I pointed out (and feel free to tell the seller), this bag was reported and removed by ebay on March 2, 2015. My reports aren't always as specific as this one was and it proves that sbrady56 KNOWS the bag is fake since it was removed as such and she has no business listing it again.

Let her know that 99.999% of fakes have serial numbers too. Existence of a serial number proves absolutely nothing!

You're right, it was called a Camera Bag, style 4012 and was from the Lightweight line. It may have only been made in 1990 and 1991. Although it doesn't show in the catalog photo, it does have that extra band of leather that wraps around the sides and base of the bag.

So far, I don't see any problems but more pictures are needed.

In newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.
