Yep. It would be bad enough if she was only selling them for 20 or 30 bucks - but she's selling a lot of them for close to, or even OVER THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PRICE! And they're CWAP !!! :pout:
Another pet peeve is that she advertises recent bags (2002) as "vintage"

And for more excitement, check out the Hall of Shame. (Give me a few to assemble my post!)

The font's fake, there's a stamping border around the whole serial number, the creed is stamped WWAAAAAAAYYY off-center on the pocket.

The style number matches the bag, but valid, verifiable H plant bags seem to have disappeared after 1998 when they were used sometimes in sample bags. We've seen a few J9H, all fake (Signature C bags with off-center patterns and US creeds), and of course K3H and K4H are also ALL fake.

The "other bag with the same creed" also has the exact same serial font AND STYLE NUMBER and is definitely NOT that huge Ergo Hobo shown in the catalog picture below as style 9026.

WHATEVE, let me know if you need a bigger picture of the 9026 catalog listing for your files.
Thanks! That picture is fine for my files.

All three are fine.

Hi! Could I please get an opinion on this bag I saw while thrifting?

Item: #9085 Duffle Sac
Found: Thrift Store
Comments: I saw posts stating this is a highly faked style & believe my thread research points to a fake but would greatly appreciate authenticator knowledge.

D5S-9085: I did see Hyacinth's post from 2014 stating S codes from US plants from the mid-1990s were believed to be fake & thought I'd check for updates.

Buckles stamped "Solid Brass": From reading, that stopped in mid-80s?

Several grommet fronts have turned silver.

I also checked the recommended known fake serial numbers list but don't think I saw this listed.

Thank you!

Happy Friday everyone! I would like to get an opinion on this Coach bag please. It looks good to me, but a second set of expert eyes is always helpful. Thanks!

It's fake. In addition to the problems you mentioned, the plant code S was a China factory and wasn't in use in 1995. And the elephant leather texture is a red flag.

I'd take it back to the store and demand a refund.

Yes, it's fake. As far as I know S was only used for China. Solid brass stamped on any hardware not on a NYC bag is suspect.
