I have another questionable bag from my new "favorite" seller, love2shopdotbags.

seller love2shopdotbags
Item number 320848757197
Link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...757197?hash=item4ab41381cd:g:2eEAAMXQyfFSBMZz

Interestingly, I found another listing for the same style with the same serial number but the seller doesn't show the creed.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...265364?hash=item21090555d4:g:MWMAAOSwo3pWddFz

Comments: I've never seen this font before. Is the bag authentic. (I've posted love2shopdotbags creed to a comp:

The F plant was an odd duck. I have similar F creeds in my files. I think the bag is authentic.

ETA: are you sure your comp is authentic?

ETA: Here's another listing with a similar F creed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Vintag...16ec469&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=141885265364

I THINK the briefcase with the serif font is ok, but I don't have any files on briefcases. Noshoepolish would have to take a look at it. I've seen the same font in a Candidate Brief from 1994 that seemed ok. The Candidate has the same leather, detailing, and creed statement as the Madison bags, so it's hard to imagine anyone copying that and getting everything right. Pics below, with a red Hamilton Portfolio, not from the Madison family, below it..

ETA - looks like I have the same Portfolio in my files as the one Whateve posted - sorry!

The creed in the "Duffle Sac" worries me though, it seems like the Coach logo isn't centered in the cartouche, and the entire logo just seems "off".

I used that duffle sac as an example because it's one of the few H5F bags I found that showed the creed.

Here's where that listing came from. (It was already sold on Etsy.)

seller Elsu76
Etsy listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/256669780/coach-handbag-purse-shoulder-bag-h5f

Please authenticate this bag. I unwisely purchased it without seeing the creed. It appears to be counterfeit, but I just wanted confirmation before I ask for a refund.

Item: Coach Vintage Cross Body Bag
Seller: cknoedler2013
Listing #: 331762147973
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Vinta...j275MO1dxqQXRNM3rehio%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Comments: After receiving the bag, I took pictures of the back plate of the turn lock showing grooves, and the creed, showing several obvious problems there.

Thank you!

Soho styles with horseshoe buckles don't usually have turnlocks. And the proportions of the strap are wrong.

I would be grateful for an authentication of this Goodwill find. It was really hard to photograph the creed in such a small bag, so let me know if it isn't legible enough. Thank you!

Item Name (if you know it): ??
Dimensions: 9”H, 6 1/2”W, 3”D
Seller: Goodwill

I think it's fake. Besides that thick font that is completely wrong for the H plant, we don't think the H plant was operational in 2002. The ergo line was only made in 1997 and 1998, a few styles possibly in 1999. Here is another fake with the same creed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-VINTA...538593?hash=item2a586371a1:g:j7UAAOSwuTxV-HdV

I don't have style #9026 in my files.

The font's fake, there's a stamping border around the whole serial number, the creed is stamped WWAAAAAAAYYY off-center on the pocket.

The style number matches the bag, but valid, verifiable H plant bags seem to have disappeared after 1998 when they were used sometimes in sample bags. We've seen a few J9H, all fake (Signature C bags with off-center patterns and US creeds), and of course K3H and K4H are also ALL fake.

The "other bag with the same creed" also has the exact same serial font AND STYLE NUMBER and is definitely NOT that huge Ergo Hobo shown in the catalog picture below as style 9026.

WHATEVE, let me know if you need a bigger picture of the 9026 catalog listing for your files.

Thank you for confirming.

That's another fake to add to the report!
