Probably just another crook or gang of them.

Be VERY careful when clicking on links from possible fakes sites, especially if they're in China, Russia or the former Soviet Union. There are tens of thousands (and that's s very conservative estimate) of both independent and professional gangs of hackers who have all kinds of nasty things they can do to your computer OR your mobile apps.

Thanks for the advice (curiosity killed the cat...).

I didn't download anything or go any further than the page the link opened to, as soon as I saw the word chinese, I knew I didn't have to go any further.

Very true.

I haven't checked honolulu, but just Google "smash and grab chicago" or "crash and grab chicago" to see just a few places where a lot of those expensive bags, jeans and other high-priced goodies could have come from.

Just for starters:
http://chicago.cbslocal.com/tag/smash-and-grab/

The Chicago scumbags seem to have a special fondness for Louis Vuitton. They'll actually drive right THROUGH the doors and along the walkways of a major ENCLOSED shopping mall to stock up on LVs. :D
http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/11/18/burglars-drive-car-into-northbrook-louis-vuitton-store/

(Northbrook Court is HUGE, BTW - I think it's still the biggest mall in the entire Chicago area. Good thing LV is on the ground floor!)
http://www.northbrookcourt.com/directory

Yes I read that story! I was surprised they literally drove through the mall haha. I also read the story where the thieves couldn't get any merchandise because their car got stuck after crashing in :sly: :D

1- Ergos are highly faked and we won't authenticate without a creed and serial photo.

I contacted the seller last night but didn't get reply, anyway it has ended.

2- genuine City Bag Spectator - did you notice the seller's comment that it smells of cigarettes? It also looks like there might be some leather damage in the lower left corner.

I managed to get rid of smell from a vintage LV, so I thought I could try my luck but thank you for pointing out leather damage which I didn't see!

3- genuine

Thanks.

BOTH of those are Carriers, not Musettes.

Sellers often use both names so they can suck in someone looking for a Musette and doesn't know how to tell the difference.

And I thought I already said at least once - DON'T EVER DEPEND ON A SELLER TO KNOW OR USE THE CORRECT NAME, AGE OR STYLE NUMBER OF A COACH BAG".

Whateve answered a similar question from you 3 weeks ago:

and so did I

and another member:

You may want to try using the forum Search feature - searching the main Coach forum for "carrier musette" would have brought up your posts and others on the same subject.

Thanks Hyacinth, sorry i admit it was mistake on my part [emoji40]

In addition to the info Hyacinth posted above, here's a post from the Vintage Coach Photos & Chat thread that might help:

G morn! I think I'm giving up on Musette. Since another model I wanted is totally not available in eBay or etsy....I will have to b contented with my Carrier or Swag which look similar in style! [emoji16]

I found a picture that shows both the male and female parts of the snap details more clearly. It's from the same style coin purse.

Sorry, that's NOT the same snap as the one in Azuremerekat's photos. There are NO concentric circles at all in the photos of the small green coin purse. The flat surface of the "male" part is completely smooth except for the makers' stamps.

Maybe someone will recognise what kind of item the photos of the snap in theBargainPrincess' album came from, and how old it is.

And we still haven't seen close-up photos of the snap from YOUR wallet, unless I missed it somewhere.
I just want to add to the "snap" discussion.

In posting a picture of what I thought was the same snap as on the wallet in question, I wasn't implying that the wallet was authentic. (I'd never seen anything like that wallet nor some of the details of the wallet. They didn't look "Coach" to me.)

The point of my post was to show the unusual snap on an authentic Coach item. It was in response to Whateve's post that she'd never seen that type of snap on an authentic Coach item.

I apologize if there was confusion.

Maybe it's me but is this maybe the WORST auction listing you have ever seen?
I had to open it to see what was for sale!
Great photos if you want to buy a scarf off of someone's greasy head,
And what language is that?
Sorry, but I thought a little chuckle might start the day off nice!

Comments: Someone was looking for one of these I think, was it you BeenBurned? I don't know if this is authentic but posting for authentication and feel free to bid if this is a good price.
The listing is for an authentic collar.

Thanks for thinking of me. I was looking for a collar in small and bought this one in August. Sunny is wearing it but isn't nearly as excited that it's "Coach" as I am but I'm very pleased.
