Hello again, after passing on the bag I asked yesterday, today I bought one in.... Goodwill! :smile1:

Another thanks due to you ladies, why didn't I think before of finding old Coach bags there? Anyway (if I am doing my research right), this is not vintage yet but OK 2001 seems to be my year, LOL. Also when I saw made in Costa Rica, I didn't run away I remember reading some bags were made there. Well... it looks good to me but I am no expert of course, so... do I keep it or do I take it back? It's a petite bag, like 10x6x3 inches.

The name is bigger than the bag itself.

It's a Bonnie's Legacy Linen Canvas Small Zip Satchel. The Bonnie's Legacy line was created for Spring 2001 as a salute to Bonnie Cashin who had died a year earlier, in February 1990.

Authentic. I think it is from the early 60s. This is one of the first fabric linings Bonnie Cashin used when she first started working for Coach.

plastic on the brass?

thank you!
I agree, this one is fine. I often don't remove the plastic off the hardware on my new bags until it falls off. Sometimes I don't realize it is there.
