Hi all! I’m interested in purchasing a Legacy Zip 9966 in either Mahogany or British Tan. It would be my first vintage Coach purchase so while I have read up on creed numbers and obvious signs of fakes, I would like to be as sure as possible before I make a purchase. Could you please authenticate these items? Thank you so much in advance!

2. Item: 9966 in Mahogany
Listing number: 176896835925 (eBay)
Seller and site where listed: barefootBarbie(4310) on eBay or bamerwin on Poshmark
Link:https://www.ebay.com/itm/176896835925 or https://poshmark.com/listing/VTG-Co...ssbody-Hobo-Saddle-B-67c88dc3f8847141f3b9735b
Comments: the creed number appears a little faint in the pictures but I believe it says E9N-9966 which I believe matches the Mexico location stated in the creed. The listing says USA but I actually commented on the Poshmark listing and the seller amended it there.

They are all authentic.
Just a comment on #2, Poshmark seller bamerwin aka Ebay seller barefootBarbie

Although the bag in question is authentic, on Poshmark, the seller has this fake currently listed on PM.

She also has a fake Coach bangle:

ETA: Another fake on Poshmark --- Ugh! This one has a "COA" from Authentic Detective: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-...456823-Rare-With-COA-6716a05f693ff7c738ab989b

Both had also been listed on ebay in the past.

Comments: Coach 9033 authenticity? The hangtag looks & feels different than my others. The ad said no accessories included. Thanks in advance.
Remember to include seller ID: office wigi stores - wigi-123

The bag you've asked about is authentic but like so many other sellers in Japan, they aren't diligent in verifying authenticity and knowingly or not, they have a mix of fakes and authentic items.

Example - fake (and the identical item with the same pictures is listed by many other Japanese sellers too):

Thank you for your response. This was actually something I was curious about b/c I noticed a bunch of Japanese stores selling Coach bags (and I did notice some of them have the same photos posted - wasn’t sure if it’s one “store” operating under multiple names or what it was because they all seemed to be legitimate and have good reviews). I was wondering what peoples’ experience has been & if I should avoid them altogether

How can you tell the attached lime green bag is fake? What gives that away?

Took a chance on a rehab project, and would love to get some help in identifying and authenticating this bag. It measures about 13” wide and 9” tall if measured from the middle (10” tall at the edges). Based on the creed, it looks pre-1990’s. Thank you so much!

Item: Unknown for now
Seller and site where listed: ombra69 on Depop

Comments: That looks like just dirt on the bottom, but just to make sure, that’s not mold right?

It's authentic. It's a classic hobo #9855, made around 1989-1993. It doesn't look like mold to me, more like a spill of some sort.

Thank you so much for the heads up! Out of curiosity, how can you tell the Soho bag is a fake?
