It's authentic. The style is "HML" large hobo, either "Hamilton" or "Hamptons" and afaik, the actual collection hasn't been determined as no one has been able to find a Coach catalog with the actual name.

ETA: I will add that my belief is that it's Hamilton and NOT Hamptons.

Just as "Sabrina" refers to boutique styles and "Ashley" is the similar MFF version, I believe that "Hamilton" is the MFF collection of similarly styled "Hamptons" bags.

Thanks so much for all the information! On Saturday I was out for a walk and I wandered into an Estate Sale and they were asking $100 for this bag, but I passed. It had signs of wear and it was MFF so I didn't feel that it was worth it, even though it was a cute, red hobo with nickel hardware.

Yesterday, I was out walking again and I checked in at the Estate Sale. The purse was still there and they were advertising "half-price on everything" so I made a lower offer of $40 and my offer was accepted. I think that was a better price (but not great) for a worn MFF bag - even though it was red!

You are right in saying that you have to know what you have to be "dilligent" because I see fakes and overpriced items (and occassionally even an underpriced item!) in thrift stores and sales.

Would you please authenticate this backpack I purchased at the estate sale? 15.38" x 9.75" x 7.5"
Thank you

It's gorgeous though pricey! I looked for one these for a long time. I love the embellishments especially in this color.
And this bag looks absolutely brand new. Not a stain or a flaw on it that I can find. Just needs some leather CPR! I was thinking if I saw this bag online for like forty bucks, would I buy it?Yes! But, then I'd have to pay shipping. So, here it was, in my hand for fifty bucks. I love it. My research says it's an original retail of $458 19 years ago.

I just opened up the inner zip pocket and there's a coach care booklet, dated 2006, looking absolutely pristine.

The bag is authentic.

I find Saver's prices are all over the place.

I was at one yesterday and saw a leather wristlet (MFF) in the locked case for $39.99. (At least it was authentic!) There was also a fake station bag in the same case for $79.99.

But I recently found a genuine Dooney for $5.99 on the regular rack.

You really have to know prices, know authenticity and be diligent.
Thank you!

Hello, are you please able to tell me, is this listing authentic? Etsy seller Sirine Oksam

Hi again!
It's authentic.

ETA: Whoa, is that legit on etsy? To charge a fortune for shipping and then direct buyers to their own website?

Hi again!
It's authentic.

ETA: Whoa, is that legit on etsy? To charge a fortune for shipping and then direct buyers to their own website?
ETA: Although the bag in the pictures is authentic, the pictures shown DO NOT belong to the seller!

This is the source of the pictures of the bag. The bag in the Etsy listing is NOT the bag you will receive!

In addition to what @whateve pointed out that seems unethical (at best) and dishonest (at worst), I'd avoid SirineOksam.

I don't believe Etsy seller SirineOksam uses her own pictures. There's no way to know what you're going to receive!
