It looks good. Coach called this style Legacy Leather Satchel. Catalog says it is 12 x 8 x 6 inches. The Mandy was a slightly different bag. Most of these Legacy bags are heavy because of the brass hardware.

notes: I know Patricia Legacies are often faked and not sure about the creed spacing/font but I was drawn in. The hardware and leather look thick and chunky. With some research, I found this bag was reissued in 04/05 and I know Coach moved most production to China in 01. But I’m likely being overly optimistic. Obviously, expert knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks again.

It's authentic, made in 2005, so technically not vintage until later this year. 2001 China bags are comparable to other vintage bags but around 2004-2005 things changed. The leather and type of dye used might not be the same as on older bags.

The bag is authentic.

In 1994, Coach changed the formatting of their serial numbers by assigning numbers that indicated production information and style the style number. Your bag was made prior to 1994 at a time when random serial numbers were used.
