Hi all,

I'm looking to authenticate this Coach bag. I purchased it through Marktplaats, a secondhand marketplace in The Netherlands, similar to Ebay. The seller informed me they originally bought the bag from an American seller on Ebay.

Item: Hamptons Leather Demi Pouch (style no. 7785), color Bordeaux/Burgundy
Seller and site where listed: The link has unfortunately expired, but the seller currently has a similar bag listed: https://www.marktplaats.nl/u/botter/8569542/
Comments: From the information on the creed (NoF0S-7785), I can make out that it was (supposedly) made in June 2000. No inner white tag, but the original price tag was included inside the bag and the information on it seems to be correct. Both the outer zipper and inner pocket zipper are YKK. The (nickel?) hardware feels solid and the clasp has the Coach logo stamped on it.

My biggest doubt is the stitching. It looks a bit wonky on the underside of the strap (see photos).

I think this looks okay but I don't think it is Ashley. I think it is Kristin.

It's authentic. AFAIK the script was used for many outlet styles.

It's authentic. For future reference, we don't need to know the zipper brand for Coach items.

I can’t seem to find any answers whether this bag exists. I got this in the secondhand market. It seems quite well made but not sure if it is real leather either 😩
