Hi all, would you please authenticate this bag? I cannot get pics from the listing to attach on my phone, so just let me know if this is an issue. My first time buying from Japan. Thank you.

Happy 2025 Authenticators! This was weird to come across a Willis that was made in Italy. Despite the terrible added stitching inside the flap, I wonder if this is an authentic Coach bag. The creed numbers don’t seem to follow the usual Willis code. Thanks for checking it!

Seller: alexernst3

There is another Willis made in Italy listed on Poshmark. Again, the serial numbers don’t make sense to me.

The particular bag you've asked about is authentic but the seller, kaaaa-6141 / Yamato-Nadeshiko/stor doesn't verify and mixes fakes as do so many other Japanese sellers.

THis is just a few examples of fakes from Yamato-Nadeshiko/stor. I have little doubt there are more but with so many listings, I won't go through all.

Be VERY careful when considering bags coming out of Japan.

Have there been known cases of bait and switch?

TBH, I don't think Japanese sellers do bait and switch. I think they're just naively ignorant when it comes to authenticating Coach.

I suspect though that there are dishonest sellers who use either stock photos or pictures stolen from other sellers' listings then ship fakes to their buyers.

Item: Coach Emerald Green Suede Purse In Mint Condition W Original Storage Bag
Listing number: 205236849431
Seller and site where listed: mrse93003 --- eBay

Comments: I'm new to the world of vintage Coach purses so not too sure about a few things. I can't find a lot about this purse style (7470) besides other sale listings. I've never seen the creed stating a purse was made in China.

Thanks for the help!
