😭 I bought it from live stream.. how to spot it fake anw?

Two things are obvious: 1. The creed number starts with a Y. That digit should be a letter of the alphabet A - M, sometimes N, but not any other letters near the end of the alphabet.
2. The hardware shouldn't be stamped solid brass. Coach stopped using solid brass hardware on classic styles a long time before this bag was supposedly made. (It is representing it was made in 1998).

Hi Authentichator, I just bought this Coach City Bag and I'm not sure if it's fake or authentic.. please help me find out..

Comments: the leather doesn't feel smooth, my other vintage coach bags when I pour water on it, the water will soak in quickly but this is kind of waterproof(?)

What is "live stream?" Is this the listing you purchased?

I found this listing which interestingly, appears to be the same bag as you found on "live stream."

I obtained what I believe is a 4040 large swinger bag. How does it look? Please and thank you for an authentication. It's from the dreaded Poshmark site. (But such a good deal!) I think the zipper slider hardware or the entire zipper has been replaced, because it's black metal and not brass. I know this style had known zipper issues. I like whatever is going on with the color here, it looks like cream swirling in coffee.
